Dead or alive
On May, 1, 2017, the world was at its peek and core when it was devastated by a virus, one nobody could have ever predicted. the population went from billions to maybe thousands, if you were a survivor you weren't lucky just the opposite but if you were dead you were lucky. The reason being that the world has never seen what humans can become in the wake of an apocalypse at least some were lucky enough to die without the thought of being hunted down by your own kind. The day it happened it was sunny and clear when the emergency broadcast came on, attention please the United States is now in marshal law, please stay in your homes if you have any of these symptoms please hang a red towel on your door runny nose, bloody urine, sweating, fatigue, vomiting, coughing. Again if you experience any of the above symptoms hang a red towel on your door. If you don't have any symptoms hang a white towel. Anybody who had a red towel wasn't lucky at all they were all shot on sight by U.S. marines and solders it was said they needed to be prepared for anything. The truth they needed to ready to kill innocent people. This is only how the story began, here is the the full version.
the day it all happened I was sitting on my couch reading the newspaper I lived in a small town called ohtangle, Pennsylvania. I had three kids, jack, minsy, and Lyndsey. I also had a wife named missy I was only 25 at the time and while reading the paper I normally had the tv on so that day wasn't an exception so before I could tell my wife came in and said she was calling off work, she said she wasn't feeling well. The next 10 minutes of my life were hell. The emergency broadcast came on tv so I turned it up. It said the broadcast and as I looked at my wife she started coughing and ran to the bathroom to puke in the toilet, I was a military man for ten years and I knew why the red flag or towel it was a kill any infected without them knowing order.
I looked at my wife as she started towards the door with a red towel and I got up and ran after her and I said well here I'll hang it for you. I couldent tell if she seen my reaction as odd or different but she didn't say anything. I ran to the bathroom and grabbed a white towel instead. I had to do something the military would check everyone anyways so I told her I was taking the kids next door, in other words I was taking her to anywhere with a white towel on their door. But before I could I heard a knock at the door, and a mans voice this is the United States Army please open the door so we can check the house. I didn't know what to do, other then give out my name and rank. I was very well known to the army as I served for many years I said I'm jack gravin, Seargent number 224 I heard him radio in on the com, ser we have a problem their is a guy named jack gravin insisting he served I heard on the other side to put me on.
jack its me Danny, said Danny what the fuk is going on you have a shoot to kill any infected order out. Jack the world is about to see something never seen before which is going to happen in about 5 minutes to any of the infected their going to die but, but they won't stay dead. I said what the hell, what the hell do you mean they won't stay dead. He said I already said to much I'm getting a helicopter for you and your family now. I said jack Missy's infected he said I'm sorry Jack but you know we have no choice I do tell them to give me two minutes.
jack you will have one minute to hand her over, their is only two minutes left before you know, I understand thank you Danny.
kids get packed and ready to leave soldier, take her outside in the shed at least please, I'll go get her. Missy the U.S. Army has to ask you a few questions, they are waiting in The shed. She must have known something's up because she said take care of the kids. As my wife walked towards the door the army lifted their weapons when I said what are you doing she turned but I knew now that it wasn't her it was an it now.
