I was born in Rhodesia in l934. I spent my childhood between Rhodesia, a Portuguese East Africa colony, where my father was stationed (1930 - 1948) and Mozambique.
I moved to Zambia in 1964 with my husband, where I worked as a secretary for a firm of solicitors, and later became a full-time tennis coach and caring for my three children.
I moved to South Africa in 1986, after my husband died in Zambia. I brought up my three grandchildren in the meantime and started coaching tennis at my own tennis courts.
I am now retired from all these activities and am now occupying myself by learning how to use a computer to keep my mind active and by writing stories about our life in Zambia and Zimbabwe (ex-Rhodesia), mostly non-fiction about our life and life in general.
I am still learning to write better stories and keep my mind open to new things.
