Born on November 30, 1949, in Zurich, Switzerland; where she lives with her husband Alan Bruce Thompson.
After commercial education and more than forty years of working as an assistant in various branches, she began to write short stories in English, which she publishes regularly online on the site www.storystar.com.
The Cuban author Manuel Olivera Gómez regularly translates her short stories into Spanish. The first selection of her stories in Spanish appeared in December 2016 with the title 'A medianoche en Adra'. This collection in English with the title 'At midnight in Adra' appeared in July 2018.
A new volume of her short stories is planned for 2020.
In October 2015 appeared her first novel 'Nieves perpetuas en Almería'. She wrote the first version in Spanish, which was revised in collaboration with the Cuban author Manuel Olivera Gómez.
'Snowfields in Almeria' is the English version of that work (April 2017); Alan Bruce Thompson revised her own translation into English.
Her next novel - this time in German - is now in preparation (action in Zurich, Switzerland), planned for October 2019.
'Sophie in the valley wind' is her first children's book (December 2017). The Spanish version of that work appeared in January 2018 with the title 'Sofía en el viento del valle'. The French version 'Sophie dans le vent de la vallée' followed in April 2019.
Versions in German and Mandarin are already finished, publication planned for autumn 2019.
Her second children's book 'Sofía en el viento andaluz' appeared in November 2018 (version in English planned for July 2019).

She is a passionate traveler, dedicated to culture and art of the world. In addition, she likes music and daydreaming. With her husband she lives several months per year in a picturesque hamlet on the South Coast of Andalusia, Spain, where both work on their respective projects.
