Entrapped in a Crime(SALAAR lAGHARI) DETAILED PLOT:

New York, Michael Steinhoff and Tom Quire are two young adults enjoying their early twenties drinking and Womanizing. Michael has just graduated from his university of engineering and has taken over his father’s transportation business. His friend Tom is a striver who likes to achieve and accomplish in life. He is in last year of his medical university studying a course on surgery. The two friends live next door to each other with their respective families, in the apartment building.
One night, around eleven o’ clock, Tom receives a text message at his home from Michael to reach immediately at the pent house opposite to their building. Tom realizing the urgent situation leaves his home and rushes towards the stated house. As he goes closer towards the house, he sees someone suspicious coming out whose face was barely visible. The suspicious guy leaves immediately and Tom enters inside the house. As he opens the front door, he sees Michael lying on ground with his left hand handcuffed on a chair. As Tom further examines the room, he finds another body lying on ground. It was Mr. Beckham’s dead body, who was choked to death by someone moments ago. As Tom releases Michael by breaking the handcuffs with an axe, he is explained by Michael, that an hour earlier Michael was called there by Mr. Beckham and as he arrived there Mr. Beckham’s servant Irvin attacked both of them to faint. Next moment, as Michael woke up he saw Mr. Beckham strangled to death by someone.
So the boys suspect Irvin, Mr. Beckham’s servant, to be the killer. As they are discussing the event, Miss Rita, a woman in their neighborhood comes inside the house and sees the scene suspecting the boys to have committed the crime. Michael escapes running away immediately, however Tom tries to explain what had happened but she leaves immediately to report to the police. The boys escape away safely from their colony.
Next day, the crime scene is being investigated by the cops. Detective Clooney is assigned to investigate the case. Miss Rita as a witness convinces them that Michael and Tom were the killers who had accidentally or intentionally committed the murder crime. Irvin the servant arrives at the house and pretends as if he knew nothing about the crime. He shows some grief for his master’s death and yet checks out if any evidences were left behind.
Michael and Tom had booked a room at the hotel and were hiding from everyone. Tom was very much scared and was thinking about how long they could hide like this. However, Michael was planning to catch Irvin somehow who entrapped them in this. The boys continue hiding like this but they could hardly eat or sleep in such fear.
Detective Clooney continues with his investigations and captures the image of the killer’s handprints that were visible on Mr. Beckham’s throat. He asks Tom’s parents about their son’s life back ground, to this his parents reply that he was a coward who always avoided violence and quarrels. On the other hand, Michael’s father refuses to accept him as his son after such an incident. The case seems hopeless as there was no motive or further evidences to proceed.
One night Michael lies on his bed, closes his eyes and goes to a flashback of a time when he had a one sided love for Jennifer, whom he wanted to achieve more than any other wealth or success he could achieve. But with passage of time, her family figured out about him and refused to accept him for her. So they sent her abroad, leaving him badly heartbroken and shattered. As Michael’s thoughts are disturbed by Tom, he tells Tom that Jennifer was the most painful experience of his life but now he was experiencing something worse. Tom agrees with him, but tells him that he was willing to surrender as he was innocent. To this Michael replies, they should wait until Irvin shows up before them.
Meanwhile, at the petrol station, Miss Rita was sitting relaxed on her car, until Irvin arrives and strangles her to death. That moment, he makes a call to Detective Clooney from her cell phone, informing him about Rita’s murder. The same moment, Detective Clooney receives another call from Michael who informs him about Tom’s location. Michael turns out to be a double-crosser.
Next morning, Tom wakes up in the room from the knock on his door. As he receives the guest, it turns out to be the detective and the cops who arrest him. And Michael was nowhere in the room, so Tom realizes that he might have back stabbed him at the perfect time.
Later, in the interrogation room, the cops continuously ask Tom same questions differently but Tom only speaks the truth confidently. However, Detective Clooney figures out that the strangler’s handprints did not match Tom’s.
Back at the hotel’s basement, Michael and Irvin were seated together and were drinking beer on their success. From their conversation, it turns out that Michael had killed Mr. Beckham by strangling him as he was Jennifer’s father who rejected Michael and sent his daughter abroad to get engaged to someone else. The shattered lad had taken an oath to avenge him by killing him. Miss Rita was also murdered on Michael’s order. Michael gives Irvin his agreed amount of share and prepares to leave New York.
