I wrote this to help with my depression. It is dark because my thoughts were dark.

__________________________________________________________

SCENE 1

Narrator step into the scene. Dark red lit room. Wearing an all-black dress she wipes off her tears. the camera starts to rotate around her.

NARRATOR - Let me guess, you found this film via recommendation, or you read some hit article about it online. Humans, they love to take peoples problems and turn it into the newest hit entertainment. Hopefully you're one of the lucky ones. Searching a second hand video store until it feels like you’re lost in another world, and you find a tattered old VHS tape in the back of a dusty shelf forgotten and lost. I would much rather enjoy your company if that were the case.

Fade into black. Street sounds play. You hear a taxi cab driver yell, “Get out the street asshole!”

NARRATOR - Now here is the confusing part. I don’t exist. I really don’t. Well at least I didn't until you popped my tape in. My life depends on you continuing to watch, choosing to enjoy my company. When you put it down I am just another fictional character, in a amateur film. And that is what makes my story my own. But you want to know what the best part is? I don't have to worry about putting some great life changing sentence at the end of this, because it doesn't need it. You have already changed my life by making it past the first scene.

Scene 2,

Zooms out back into the girl (with her hair over her face).

NARRATOR - My life now needs to expand, just as all things do in time. But what should I tell you. Should I give you a dramatic backstory lashing out on everyone for my life problems? Should I even tell you my name?

Fade to a white screen.

NARRATOR - I think for starters I should tell you about my eye color.

Zoom into a pair of bright green eyes.

NARRATOR - It's a strange thing to to be told. The eyes are not something to be described in detail. Most of the time, if you're lucky, you might get a whole two sentences and a few recurring lines on the eyes.

The eyes start spinning and fade into a picture of earth.

NARRATOR - But just hear me out for a second, because if you don’t you are going to be completely lost. I always loved my eyes. And it’s all because my eyes are the start of my story.

Fast soon into a picture of a bright shining galaxy.

NARRATOR - My eyes are the greatest tool in my possession. They show me the truth. My eyes never lie.

Zooms back into eyes.

NARRATOR - I have seen happiness, sadness and even death. My own. at least in a way it is like a death. My life is filled with emptiness and for a lack of a better word hatred.

scene 3,

Camera moves and zooms into her arms with red painted words on them.

NARRATOR - Worthless, Pathetic, Immature, Stupid, These are just a few of the words I hear every day of my life.

Scene 4,

Fade into black. Car horn honking. You hear the same taxi cab driver start talking, “I don't know why she won't get up.”

Fades out into white, then into her face full of tears, she is in front if the taxi, blocking traffic.

An officer walks over, “Mame you have to get up. If you don’t we will have to take you to a hospital.’

The girl - Okay sir.

Officer - Where are your parents?

The Girl - They are never around. They would just go back to their lives.

Officer - Come with me mame.

NARRATOR - He won't understand, None of them will. I am alone, surrounded by what has never been. I am nothing.

Scene 5

It is late. A police car stops at your house. The Officer drops you off at your house. Your mom and dad are talking to the officer as you walk to your room.

Officer - May I Have a word with you foke.

Mother - Why of course.

Father - We are just glad our little girl is home.

Shows the girl staring at a picture of her and her best friend.

Officer - she said you guys are never around, is that true?

Shows the adults talking in the living room.

Mother - Both her father and I have really tight work hours. We try to fit in time when we can.

The camera fades away and into the girl’s room. She is packing a bag of important things.

A camera and an empty tape labeled “Untitled Document”.

A picture of her and her best friend. *Flash back - her and her best friend at the park. Taking selfies*
Officer - Ma'am your daughter was standing in the middle of the street.

A stuffed bear. *Flash back to her and her best friend in a restaurant, they give each other gifts.*

Father - Sir we have done all that we could, he is in and out of homes and therapy. We just finally got custody back.

Officer - What do you mean?

And a gun. She opens her window, and leaves. Fades into the the living room.

Mother - A few years ago she tried to commit suicide because of trouble at school. She was a little pudgy. The girls would throw things at her. and the boys would call her a pig. Its not like she was unhealthy, she just didn't look like everyone else.

Shows her at a bus stop, then again the adults in the living room.

Officer - well thats not…

Father - But it got worse. She would come home crying because kids would throw their unwanted food at her. They were just awful to her.

*Flash back - The girl and her best friend are Verbally fighting by a park bend, “why would you do something that stupid,’ “You have to ignore them,” The girl is just sitting there looking down, “Are you even listening,”*

Fades back into the living room.

Mother - We really didn't know what was going on, she never told us. We only found out when the principle had….

Mother starts crying. Father tearing up.

Mother - The principal had called us and told us our girl had a blade on her.

Father - The school janitor had caught her cutting herself in the girls locker room after school.

*Back to flash back “I give up, if you want to be miserable, be miserable, just don't drag me into this.”*

Shows girl on the bus.

Mother - She was so depressed that she pretended like she did not exist.

NARRATOR - Because I don't. I only live in memories and on film.

Shows the girl getting off the bus at the park. She takes a long walk and sits on a bend, the same one her and her friend had the fight.

Officer - Could I talk to her.

Mother - Come back tomorrow, she has had enough excitement for today.

Shows officer leaving the house. He stops and faces the dad.

Officer - Just please tell me if anything pops up.

Father - okay sir. We will do our best.

Mother - for our little girls sake.

Officer closes door. Scene fades into the girl at the park.

NARRATOR - My name is Jade. And this is where my story ends.

fades to black. gun shot.

Fades to police station.

The police officer pops in a tape called “Untitled Document”

Officer talking to father.

Officer - Sir your daughter posted this tape all over the internet before she took her life.

He presses play.

Narrator step into the scene. Dark red lit room. Wearing an all black dress she wipes off her tears. the camera starts to rotate around her.

NARRATOR - Let me guess,
