Chapter 1.
Tears rolled down her face as she heard the news. She was astonished.
Her parents gasped. "What?" they asked.
"But... BUT WHY?" Cali cried. "WHY?"
What had happened?
Nobody knew. Cali went outside... only to find her dead grandmother, lying there on the cold, stone-hard ground.
"What happened?" Cali asked the policeman.
"Ma'am, we unfortunately can't make it public at the moment. We'll get back to you soon," the guard replied.
So Cali wept. That was all she knew how or what to do. No one helped her, no one was there for her. She was miserable. Depressed was the correct word.

Chapter 2.
"Everyone, come in here," Cali's father called.
"Your mother and I have something to tell you," he continued.
"What's wrong, dad?" Cali questioned.
"Well back in the 1800's... your ancestors made an awful decision."
There was complete silence.
"They... well... they killed... a lot of people and it was a gruesome sight. Detached limbs were scattered everywhere and severed heads were the worst!"

Chapter 3.
"But why would they do such a thing?" Cali queried.
"Well they wanted revenge I guess. Us Americans wanted to go into Australia for the Universal Gold Rush. Although we had enough money to purchase a license we didn't. We DID NOT want to spend ANY money whatsoever. Why? You may ask. Well I do not know. The guards tried to stop your ancestors, but we fought back... and WE won! So ever since then Australia's government kept our record, and well here they are now. Grandma, who's lying out there on the floor right now, was murdered for a reason. Her grandparents made a stupid mistake."
"So she has suffered for us... and now with us. We will be okay Cali. Trust me. They won't (or shouldn't) come after us," mom said.
