From the Northern part of Africa lies Algeria to the Southern part of Africa lays South Africa,
The scenic depiction of the largest Kilimanjaro mountain to the deepest fish river canyon defines Africa,
The divine blessings of innumerable minerals were Africa’s premonitory wealth,
This is Africa.
My dying Africa
The God beloved chosen continent,
And indeed the cursed continent on the planet earth,
Jinx with the Western colonisers and cease by tyrannical African leaders,
This is Africa.
My dying Africa
From the 1994 Rwandan Massacre to latest 2012 Marikana Massacre in South Africa.
It’s all mortification to the leaders whom their blood nurtured the liberty of Africa,
It’s all disappointment to the leaders, who sacrificed their life for African liberty,
This is Africa.
My dying Africa
Corruption is what defines our beatific Africa.
“The poor are becoming poorer and the rich are becoming richer”,
Human rights are being forgotten and only remembered after 5 years.
This is Africa.

Oh God:
Please bless My Africa
My dying Africa,
Answer our prayers, to rescue My Africa
Wipe all the tears, tears of Africa
