It was magical.
My fingers go numb. I feel like I am paralyzed.
Our eyes, can see the most beautiful things in life. At the same time, it can also see the most hurtful things as well.
Here I am, sitting at a wedding, looking at the marriage of my own heart throb, my crush, my first love, my everything, Tina.
We go way back in years. She used to be childhood friend, or what you call in the modern world as “Bestie”.
It’s interesting, how one’s mind and heart changes, as the childhood phase transforms into a adult phase.
The girl whom I saw only as a best friend until my childhood, went on to become my dream girl in my adult life. Did I confess it to her? Never. I blame myself for this.
So anyway, now back to reality, I have to face the situation I am in. It’s never easy being separate from your loved ones even for a short span of time. Now, I’m going to be separated from her forever. I can still talk to her as friends. But the hell with it. With all my intense emotions revolving around her, posing to her as a friend will not only make me a hypocrite but also it will damage the meaning of the valuable word “Friend”.

I sat in the chair, and looked at her. Her slender, tall, hourglass figure was a perfect match for the white gown. It was beautiful. If she had wings, she is an angel. Actually, no. She is an angel without wings.
I couldn’t stop looking at her powerful eyes. They were like a magnet. Every time I look at them, all I can feel is me being drawn to her knees. Her eyes have the power to melt any man.

A sudden thought gushed through my mind as I was thinking about her. What the heck was I doing? She is being wedded to another guy, and it is not only stupid but also disrespectful to have these thoughts about her.
I tried to deviate my mind from her and looked at the star. All I saw was, the constellations which looked exactly like her. That’s the issue with guys in love. Anywhere, wherever, they look the only thing they can see clearly is the girl.

All of a sudden, everyone in the gathering were shocked, surprised. I didn’t know why. I looked at the altar. The bride was missing. Tina was missing. I was startled myself.
I felt a hand on my shoulder. It sent shivers to my knees. I turned back slowly, almost dramatically. It was her. It was Tina. What was she doing there? Why is she not at the altar? Why is she crying?
Before I could speak anything, she grabbed me and kissed me hard. Did I stop it? No. I kissed her back, with twice as much passion.

With a huge jerk, I woke up. The alarm was snoozing. My body was sweating, my fingers shivering. It was a dream, a rather terrific dream. I looked at my mobile. It was THE day. It was the day Tina was getting married.
I looked at her invitation she sent me via post. I was prepared to attend the wedding till last night. Not anymore, not now. I don’t think I could handle it.
I typed her a message. “Sorry, got an urgent appointment. Can’t attend your wedding”.
I dropped my phone and went to shower.
I was halfway through my bathing. I hear doorbells. It was constant buzzing.
I rushed through my shower, and went back to open the door.
I unlocked the door, opened it with force, almost angry at the whoever the person was.
I couldn’t believe my eyes. A beautiful girl in her wedding gown, an angel without wings. Yes it was Tina.
Before I could open my mouth, she rushed inside, grabbed me tight, and kissed me passionately. Did I stop? No. Was it a dream? No. Was it real? No. It was magical.
