Revenge of the Video Games
Born 2006, M, from PORTLAND, United StatesRevenge of the Video Games
Timmy was playing the new game, Bear Run: Trick or Treat. He was spamming buttons back and forth as his character in a skeleton costume dodged and ran from a bear dressed as Frankenstein. Timmy searched up a cheat code on Google to help him with the game. He typed the code in and he got 10,000 pieces of candy in the game. Suddenly, the screen turned into a yellowish portal. Timmy felt his hands and legs go toward the screen. Timmy grabbed onto the chair he was sitting on, as he saw the carpet fly into the screen. Then, the chair Timmy was holding onto was devoured by the screen. Timmy attempted to run, but it was like a treadmill and Timmy was going nowhere. The speed got higher as Timmy got more tired and was swallowed by the video game.
While going through the portal, Timmy thought he heard a low growl saying, I will get my revenge.
When Timmy got out of the portal, the portal closed immediately. He saw the carpet and the chair in the middle of a neighborhood road he recognized as the neighborhood in his video game. Timmy found himself in a skeleton costume with a backpack-vacuum to collect candy on the streets. He decided to get some candy by knocking on a door.
“Trick-or-treat!!” Timmy shouted as the door swung open. A man dressed as Frankenstein was at the door.
“Ah, so you want a trick, huh?” The man said, turning into a ferocious grizzly bear that looked like the one that got stuck under his bed. Timmy looked frightened, the bear was the one that wanted revenge.
Timmy quickly flashed back to after blizzard boy was defeated. The bear was still stuck, and when police officers came to investigate and get the bear out, the bear had flung a officer out Timmy’s bedroom window, so officers had to kill the bear.
“Timmy Flash,” the Frankenbear said, “I have longed for my revenge.” Then the bear gave a roar that scared off NPCs. Timmy pressed a button on his backpack that said pause, then everything froze.
Meanwhile, Timmy’s friend, James, came over to play Bear Run: Trick or Treat, but Timmy wasn’t there. James found it odd that the carpet and chair Timmy is usually sitting on while playing video games was missing. He saw on the paused screen that Timmy in a skeleton costume was started to be chased by a bear with a frankenstein costume. He took a game controller out of a cabinet, and connected player two into the game.
A new player came out with a mummy costume, the character’s name was P2. When Timmy saw who it was, he recognized the name immediately. His friend, James, came over to play Bear Run: Trick or Treat. Once Timmy texted James on the chat with a keyboard, James responded by saying he would buy Timmy a hoverboard.
“Thx, man,” Timmy texted back. Before James could even respond, Frankenbear punched the screen, which broke the pause button. James shrieked at the sign of the broken screen.
“Oh my--!!” James shouted.
“Hey!!” Timmy shouted to Frankenbear, “that was my tv screen!!” Frankenbear replied with a roar, and leapt at Timmy. Timmy yelled in horror as James quickly bought a hoverboard for Timmy to escape. Timmy hopped on the hoverboard, as the bear nearly got it’s prey. As Timmy fled, Frankenbear pulled out a device, and rapidly pressed buttons on it. Suddenly, Blizzard Boy was generated.
“Blizzard Boy, hunt that kid on the hoverboard,” Frankenbear growled and points at Timmy with a sharp finger. Timmy started to hover away, but Blizzard Boy started shooting icicles at Timmy. James started to buy a freeze ray for Timmy, as Timmy dodged blasts of ice from Blizzard Boy. As James bought a heat ray for himself, Frankenbear summoned Pac-Man. Timmy started going behind a car to protect himself from sharp icicles being shot at him, as James took the controller and started playing as P2. P2 took out the heat ray and fired at Blizzard Boy. Blizzard Boy rapidly melted as P2 kept his finger held on the trigger. At the same time, Pac-Man ate a power pellet and was going for P2. Timmy whipped out his freeze ray and fired at Pac-Man. Blizzard Boy was now a puddle of cold water while Pac-Man looked like a dessert, ready to be eaten.
Frankenbear put a on a jetpack, and started to escape.
“Ugly’s about to get away,” James texted Timmy. Timmy fired his freeze ray at the jetpack, and stopped it. Frankenbear started to fall out of the sky, while P2 fired his freeze ray, melting the ice. Just then, the jetpack exploded due to overheat along with Frankenbear and the device used to summon Blizzard Boy and Pac-Man. A blue-green portal appeared next to the car used to protect Timmy. It swallowed up the chair and the carpet, then Timmy leapt and bounced into the portal, eager to get home.
The tv launched a gust of wind, a chair, a carpet, and a 11 year old boy at James. He got out of the way, so that he didn’t get squashed.
“I think you learned a lesson,” James said.
“I have,” Timmy replied. “Cheat codes can backfire on you.”
“No,” James growled suddenly in a deep voice, growing fur. “Don’t mess with the bear!!”

11/01/2018Just as good as the first one. I am way old- so I had to look up some of the terms like : "NPC's" and things. But the story was easy to follow and the ending was delicious! Great Job. Smiles, Kevin

10/31/2018This is a fun action adventure story, Austin. I think it can stand alone as a short story by itself, if some people don't read the first one, but it is good that you are letting readers know there is another part for them to read. Thanks! : )
