Born 2000, F, from Texas, United Statespeople walk by as if im a shadow that is non existant . I have asked am i uglypeople iask say your not ugly at all.
they say your beautiful i dont belive it at all . because i was told i was useless, stupid, slow , fat,and ugly.
they dont see that the actions words hurt me and distory dreams of unque beauty.
but i see the world as colors that express true kindness with love that shows who they truly are.
should i view my self as beautiful ,sweet ,and unque, but also loved .
scioty makes people feel like they are alone ,sad ,ugly , and just not worthy .
so i deal with my pain by sleeping art music memes and stories written by all the pople in this site so ican see their opinions.

06/01/2020hello kassie! there no doubt you are beautiful . as you may know being pretty is external feature and being beautiful is of the soul . the thing is if someone says you are bad ,everyone accept that thing as fact . but when someone says you are beautiful , we don't TRY to get the meaning of it . don't believe what others say ,be yourself .
love yourself ,accept yourself , better yourself and you'll love others .
---regards sweetie

03/20/2019Kevin and Jd are correct Kassie. Many times I feel same as you, but it's alright. Everyone does. I've heard we all learn to love ourselves as time goes on.
Also there are so many other adjectives you can be- bold, courageous, persevering.... Beauty is a relative term! The people who love you will love you no matter what and those who don't won't do even if you change for them.
The only thing that matters is going to bed with a smile that you had fun that day.
You go girl!! =D
(Sorry for the long comment. But I had to, since I feel the same as you :p)

03/08/2019Kassie,
I agree with what Jd said - with one exception, I think you do tell a story. Yes, you do have to tighten up your spelling so that the reader doesn't have to struggle. You have an Artist's soul and feelings -and words are your paint brush. But the story you told in this short two paragraph pieces is powerful: Who makes me beautiful? The words of others? Society? Or me? Do I have to look a certain way, dress in the right way, or weigh some imagined "perfect weight" ?
Those "memes" are in your story- and you aren't alone with those feelings and thoughts. You can make your writing more beautiful by following Jd's advice (and Jd knows what she is talking about- that woman has read more than thirty thousand short stories by folks from all over the world- so take heed of her comments!) - but your mind is already beautiful- and brave. So keep telling your stories.
Smiles, Kevin

03/08/2019Aloha Jd, I meant to say you had read thousands of stories! And Kassie, I am wondering if you might be dyslexic, or writing when you are emotional - so that your spelling suffers. I would be willing to bet you speak clearly, and can probably sing. So just take the time to master your writing skills...it is hard work, I mess up all the time- grammarians yell at me for my punctuation and grammar all the time.
I listen, and work at getting better at both my spelling and my grammar, but I tell my story! My way! So you go girl, clean up the typo's, rewrite when your emotions aren't soaring, and take your time- hurry messes up lots of things. Smiles, Kevin

03/08/2019You're right, Kevin, there is more of a story here than I said in my comment below. I just wish Kassie would take more time to perfect her words and writing before making it so public, to be judged by others. Thanks very much for taking the time to encourage her.
(Please note that I have not read ALL the stories on Storystar. I do not have the time and energy for that. I wish I did, but I just can't read them all. I definitely have read many thousands of them, though!)

03/08/2019I think you are a beautiful person, Kassie.
About your 'stories' though... the short poems are not really stories and so probably do not satisfy readers who are looking for stories to read. This latest one from you is more of a story than the poems, but still it really isn't a story, but rather a few thoughts you seem to have written off the top of your head without putting any effort into correcting your mistakes or making what you have written better. If you want readers to appreciate your writing and stories, and think they are as beautiful as you are, then I think you should take the time to proofread and correct all of your writing mistakes before you publish your work for readers around the world to judge you by.
