The Demons in Your Head
Born 2004, U, from Miami, florida, United StatesWe're the demons in your head
We cause your darkest moments
Your sanity is hanging from a thread
We're your biggest opponents
We haunt your dreams
We're always here but you can't see
They can't hear your screams
We're destroying your sanity
You're trapped
Your happiness is in a cage and we have the key
Your sanity is strapped
You're ours, can't you see?
You can hide
But we will always find you
there is no one on your side
We're stuck to you like glue
You can't get rid of us
We'll make you cry
There is no need to discuss
You'll think your life is a lie
You'll feel guilty
You'll think you're worthless
they'll have pity
you will feel less
You think you don't deserve this
You hate your fake smiles
We shoot and never miss
the hatred you have for yourself goes for miles.

Jd said it better than I could, I agree with her comment completely. Well done. The pictures captures the lines of your poem/story perfectly. I hope those demons are at bay, and you outgrow them over time. Sometimes fear makes Demons a bit bigger than they really are. And fear can be conquered.
Smiles, Kevin

03/08/2019You've captured the trauma of feeling like you have demons in your head... the destructive voices we sometimes hear telling us dark things that make us miserable. I hope that those of us who hear these destructive voices of negativity can find ways to distinguish between truth and fiction, and silence the voices of fiction and lies by ignoring them and weakening them by doing good and thinking positively.
