The girl and her cat (true story)
Born 2004, F, from Honeybrook/Pennsylvania, United States~The day she met the cat~
One day the Rebellious Tomboy Brynn woke up and Walked into her Mom-moms room and climbed up in bed with her Mom-mom and pop-pop. She didn't want to wake them but she just didn't want to be in her room. She later got out of the bed and went into the bathroom. She used the bathroom and got her brush and brushed her hair leaving the back nappy and knotty. She went out and walked past her room looking at her sleeping sisters in their beds. She went out to the Living room and opened doors on the bottom of the China cabinet and grabbed a pop tart. She took the pop tart into the kitchen. She plugged the toaster in and slipped he pop tarts in the toaster. Her Mom-mom walked out and saw what she was doing and smiled and said: “Girly, what are you doing up so early?”. Her mom-mom knew she always got up that early every morning.
She sat down on the couch like a big girl and ate her pop tart. Her mom-mom left her to be on the couch and went to shower. She turned on the TV to her favorite channel and Sang the Hannah Montana Theme song to herself. Her Grandpa got up and he gave her a kiss on the cheek and told her “You're funny you know that”. She knew that all right. Her youngest sister Allie woke up and Brynn turned on Max & Ruby. Brynn went and sat with her pop-pop while he ate. She then went into her room and woke up her sister Emily.
“Emilyyyyyyy time for waking up”. Emily woke up and walked out of the room. Brynn went into her Mom’s and Pa’s room and woke them up.
“Mommy,” Brynn said, “Can u change my shirt, please”.
“Yes, Brynn give us a second”. Said Brynn’s mom. She went to her room and waited for her mom.
She got out the clothes that she wanted to wear. It was a pink shirt with Monkeys on it, a pair of baggy jeans and her black Nikes with the blue checkmark. Her mom came in and helped her change. Her mom said “Brynn guess what… We are going to your pappy and Kayla’s house”. She got excited because she loved her pappy very much. Her pappy and she shared a birthday. (Her pappy was her mom’s dad and Kayla was her mom's stepmom. Her Mina{her mom’s mom} and her pappy recently divorced). She ran out and told her sisters the news and got ready to go over to the house.
She walked over to her mom-mom and said “Bye guys". She hugged them and ran out the front door. She hopped into the truck and got into her seat and waited for her mom to buckle her in. She got buckled in and she sang to the songs she new on the radio. Then when she arrived at her pappy’s home she unbuckled herself and said: “Come on guys”. She opened her door and fell out of the truck and then ran up to the door. She knocked and then Kayla opened the door. She went in and hugged her Pappy and said then said: “Hi Kamie and Tommy”. (Kamie and Tomie are Kayla's kids). Her mom carried Allie and Emily walked in. “Look Pappy It’s my younger sisters,” said Brynn.
“Yes I know Brynn, how old are you,” said her pappy. She held up six fingers and smiled cutely. Her Pappy then asked her sisters “Now Allie how old are you and what about you Emily”.
Allie said something Jibberish and then Brynn yelled: “Allie said one”.
Emily said “Two” and walked into the room with Brynn. Brynn was sitting on the floor petting the kitty.
“EMILY LOOK” Brynn yelled. The cat was so cute. When the cat saw Emily he ran behind the couch. Brynn’s Mom walked in and sat Addie on the floor. The cat came back out to sit with her mom and Brynn went to pet it.
“Brynn… Be careful” her mom said.
“I know mommy he likes me more than you,” said Brynn and petted the kitty on her mom's lap. Brynn was in love with the cat. Brynn went outside to play after a few minutes with her sisters. She got bored so she went inside to play. The cat was eating when she came in so she went to pet him.
“Brynn, No you can't pet him while he is eating”, said her mom.
“Ok, mommy,” said Brynn. Brynn went downstairs to the basement were Pappy’s bar area was. There were a bar and a pool table. She liked to pretend she was a waitress in a bar and would one day serve and cook for people. After a bit, she went up to the top to eat lunch. She sat at the small table with her sisters while the adults ate in the living room. She ate the delicious mac-n-cheese with cut up hotdog pieces in it. She then got up and went to the kitty. She walked up to the kitty with her arm extended and pet him he purred and she tried to copy him but it did not work out too well.
“Grrrr,” said Brynn as she tried to purr. Her mom came in to see what she was doing.
“Brynn, don't growl at the cat said her mom” then the cat ran to her mom.
“Mommy, I was not growling at the cat I was just trying to make that weird sound he was making,” said Brynn. The cat purred again “Mommy see, Grrr, I can do it” said Brynn.
“Brynn we have to get ready to go soon so gather up all your stuff,” said her mom. She pulled her shoes on the wrong feet and tied them like she was taught with the bunny trick and got up.
“Bye kitty,” she said to the cat as she pets him. She went up to her Pappy hugged him and then said: “Bye pappy see you soon”.
“Bye, Brynn Love you,” said her pappy.
“Love you too, Bye Kayla,” Brynn said and made all the words into one as she hugged Kayla.
“Love you, Brynn,” said Kayla as Brynn ran to Tommy and Kamie and waved bye.
“Bye, Brynn,” they said at the same time.
She was sad to leave the cat. She went to the truck and waited for help being buckled in. Her mom came and helped her and then she fell asleep. She woke up at her home and got sad because there was no kitty at this home. She wiped her eyes and unbuckled herself. She opened the door and slipped out. She ran up to the porch and opened the door. “Mommom guess what” Brynn yelled.
“What Brynn,” she asked.
“ There was a KITTY” Brynn yelled. Brynn then went into the kitchen. “May I have dinner, Please?” Brynn asked. She knew she was working on her manners and she was going to test them out.
“Yes, You may have some dinner, What would you like,” Brynn's mom asked.
“May I have a samwich” Brynn asked.
“Yes, you may,” her mom said. Brynn then ran out of the kitchen passed the dining room and into her room. She took off her shoes that were on the wrong feet. She went to the dining room to wait for her sandwich.
When her mom walked in the room with sandwich Brynn said “Thanks”. Her mom smiled and walked back to the hall. After Brynn finished her sandwich she put the plate in the sink and then went to her room she slipped mud boots on the right feet this time and put on her coat. She walked back to her mom's room. “Mommy may I go outside,” she asked.
“Ask Mommom if she can take you out” her mom responded. Brynn then ran down the hall turned the left an ran into her Mommom’s room.
“Hey Mommom,” Brynn said. Her Mommom looked at her and laughed. “Wanna. Go. Outside.” Brynn asked while pausing after every word. Her Mommom was cleaning the room.
“Sure, I have to hang the laundry on the line. But first I have to get dressed correctly” said her Mommom. Brynn clapped her hands and ran into the living room. She looked at Emily and Allie in the Pack `n play. She tapped their foreheads and then walked away.
She checked in on her Mommom. Her Mommom was ready to go outside. Her Mommom put her sandals on and got the bin of clothes pins down. They walked down the basement stairs and then Brynn grabbed some toys. She walked out of the garage door and went to the treehouse. She played with her toys in the tree house for a bit and then went inside.
~~ 1 week later~~
Brynn woke up and ran out of her new bedroom. She went to the kitchen. She then went to her Mom and Pa’s new room. She walked in and saw they were sleeping. She then went out to her playroom and played with some toys for a bit. Brynn was loving her new house. She had neighbor friends and everything. She kinda missed living with her Mommom and Poppop a bit. They would always wake up with her. She then went to the kitchen. She looked at the clock. It was 5:00. She then went to her Mom and Pa’s room again. She creaked open the door and then tiptoed to the bed. She then waited for the delayed alarm to go off. When the alarm when off she started her dance and song. “Morning, Morning time the best time of the day wake up or you will miss work Morning, Morning time” Brynn sang.
Her Pa opened his eyes and looked at her. He then said, “You best go back to sleep the bus does not come till about 8:00”.
“NEVER” She yelled and ran out of the room to get dressed. She got out her Blue and white striped shirt with a hood and a pair of baggy jeans. She then put them on and grabbed her Hannah Montana blue backpack and wheeled it out to the door. She propped it up on the wall. She then went to the bathroom she used the bathroom. She went back to the kitchen and waited there. When her mom came out she asked “May I have, some Cookie Crisp”.
“Yes” her mom responded. She grabbed the box of cookie crisp and sat it on the counter. She then took a bowl down from the cabinet and placed on the counter. She poured the cereal in the bowl and then put the box back and opened the fridge, “Milk” She asked Brynn.
“No, please,” she said.
“No thank you is what you are supposed to say,” her mom told her. Her mom handed her the cereal. Brynn ate the dry cereal. Then her Pa came out.
“I have been thinking…” He started and looked at Brynn's mom “I have seen an AD for some dogs” Brynn rolled her eyes uninterested. She finished her Cookie crisps and turned around to face him.
“I don't want a dog,” She said with Attitude.
“Ok, well your sisters might” her Pa responded, “what color would you like Black or Brown we will vote”.
“Well I DON'T WANT A DOG, but if I have to choose I want BROWN,” Brynn said aggravated. She wanted a cat, not a dog.
“I want a brown one too,” her Pa said.
“I want a black one,” her mom said, “The black one came right to us when we went to visit”.
Brynn went to her room. She made her bed and then sat on it with her stuffed animals. She didn't understand why she could not have a cat. Brynn then went out of her room. She sat down at the table with Erin and Addie. She waited for her mom to come out and ask them the same question her Pa asked her. Her mom finally came out. Her mom then said, “Come on Brynn if you wanna see Denise then you better hurry”.
“Aren't you going to ask them the question you asked me?” Brynn asked.
“I will later” Her mom responded.
“I want to hear what they say though,” Brynn said.
“Ok fine, Erin, Addie what color dog do you want,” Her mom asked her sisters.
“Black,” Erin said.
Addie then pointed to the black bowl that was in front of her. Wonderful Brynn thought. Brynn grabbed her backpack and wheeled it outside. She waved to Denise. She waited for her mom to come out and unlock the car door. Her Pa left at 5:30 to work and now it was 7:27 and Brynn had to wait for the bus. Her mom finally came out and then buckled the girls in the car. They drove out they're a driveway and down the long rocky road. She then boarded her bus and went along the trip to school.

Brynn got off the bus and walked up to her mom's car. She sat down and buckled up. They pulled out of the driveway. “Where are we going, mommy?” Brynn asked.
“Pappy and Kayla's house” Her mom answered. Brynn was so excited. So she sat quietly so that she could get there faster and she watched out of the window. When they arrived she jumped out of the car and ran up to the house.
“Hi Pappy, Hi Kayla” Brynn said. She then ran to the kitten. “Hi kitty,” she said.
“Mew,” said the cat.
“OMG, MOMMY THE KITTY MEOWED A ME” she yelled.
“Brynn, come here we have to talk,” Her mom said. Am I in trouble Brynn thought? She ran out to the room.
“Yes,” she said nervously.
“We are taking Willy home,” her mom said.
“Who is Willy” Brynn asked.
“The Kitty,” her mom said. Brynn did not know how to feel. She was so excited.
