The Fly Robot
Born 2000, M, from JAMSHEDPUR, IndiaThe fly robot
By Ayush
The man, sporting a jet black tuxedo, stood by the busy road. A light spell of rain had begun to tickle the puddles, which made him glance his handsome wrist watch from behind his black glasses. The man had been standing there for an hour now, it appeared he didn't want to cross the road at all. He looked at the raging traffic once again then pulled the end of his sleeve, slightly.
From under the sleeve of his tuxedo, a bug-size robotic human crawled out, flickering its artificial wings it stood straight on his palm.
"Go, screw that signal!" said the man to which the fly robot nodded mechanically and flew away.
The man touched the tip of his bifocals softly and the inner-view of the signal popped up before him. He could navigate the inside of the traffic signal using the fly robot through his glasses , and so he did.
"Chop those messy wires…" he said in a commanding voice.
In a while, the man would walk leisurely through the line of honking vehicles as the traffic signal would stand blank under the rainy sky.
