Mis Hotel – Hotels owners were forced to get rid of their 13th floor which left the monsters homeless so they put all the 13th floors together and made one huge hotel. The monsters each get a room to rent out for humans to stay in and receive extra money. They must wear disguises until all the humans are in bed and then they have free range of the hotel. One of the monsters and its human companion fall in love, which is strictly forbidden.
Mis Hotel is a cute little hotel located in Connecticut right by the ocean, and it had lots to offer to its guests. Free breakfast, free Wi-Fi, a swimming pool, you name it, Mis Hotel has it available. The only catch? You have to room with a monster in order to stay there. You see, Mis Hotel was built when the 13th floor crisis of 2019 happened. Hotels had to get rid of their 13th floor which left the monsters that lived on the floors, homeless. It would be a whole other issue if we had a bunch of monsters roaming around the streets of Connecticut. So, the hotel owners in CT made a decision to combine all the 13th floors in all the hotels located in CT into one. There is one other catch though, humans don’t know that the Mis Hotel houses monsters. To them, they see it as being a beautiful hotel that kind of looks like jenga blocks when they are pulled out. It has holes, rooms sticking out in all directions, almost looking as if its gonna fall any second. I wish I knew all about the Mis Hotel before I booked my reservation here. I thought that since the hotel is so new, they just had maids who lived the next room over to make sure that everything is running smoothly while you stay there. Almost like your own personal maid while your on vacation but I was not under the impression a zombie or another monster in disguise would be my maid. If I did, I would never have brought my husband, my daughter, and my son. I could feel my panick attack coming on as my husband put the car in park. “Honey, this is so nice!” my husband exclaimed as we climbed out of the car. We have been in the car for 4 hours, god it felt good to be able to stretch. The bellhop met us as we struggled to get our bags out of the back of the car. He placed our bags on a dolly and rolled it away as we followed closely behind him into the hotel. The first thing that hit you when you first walk into the Mis Hotel was definitely the stench. It smelled like a mixture between garbage and rotting flesh. You catch a whiff of it, but you eventually get used to it. “Hi. We are here to check in.” I tell the front desk clerk as I hand her my form that shows I bought the room. “Excellent, you will be in room 24 which has Karena as the maid. She will be there if you need anything. Enjoy your stay!” The front desk clerk called out after us as we hurried away from the desk and dashed for the elevator with our bell hop and luggage. “Buttons are broken. Only your floor works, number 13.” The bell hop said. “Number 13 here we come.” I said back as we pushed against each other in the elevator until we finally made it to our floor.
