Briiing! Briiing! The bell signaled class for all the students at Elmonica Elementary School. I was walking down the hall for writing class when suddenly, a door appeared right before me. The door had words that read, “If you enter this door, you shall have great wealth and fortune”. Little did I know, the words on the door meant the complete opposite. I was not the most lucky person in my family, nor the most wealthy, so I decided to enter. Once I did, I saw millions of strange objects and monsters.
Right above me I saw a large creature that looked like a mixture of Dragon and Werewolf. It had large ears, sharp claws, and possibly a tail. Also, it shot fire breath. But above all it had large, sharp teeth which looked super duper harmful. Then I knew I had made the wrong choice. Once again, I had no good fortune. I felt a bump, and suddenly I was in the belly of a whale!!!
The insides were slimy as I fell toward the bottom. It was nearly pitch-black except for a dim light that shone before me. As I looked closer, I realized it was a lantern! I guessed the whale had swallowed it while I was knocked out. I used the lantern to help me find something that could help me escape. Luckily, I found a feather in the whale’s belly, and used it to make the whale sneeze me out from the blowhole. The force was so strong it knocked me out. When I woke up, I was in the middle of the ocean! “Wait, how am I breathing underwater?” I thought. As if by magic, a mermaid appeared next to me. “Hello, my name is Julia. You are in the special underwater city of Atlantica, the twin city of Atlantis. These two underwater cities are the only underwater cities that have oxygen. Come, my friends, and I shall help you get back to your land.” Julia said. She led me to a portal, and spoke in a mysterious language I couldn’t understand.
Before I knew it, I was at my desk just before the teacher was handing back our essays. When I saw it, there was a big fat A+ on my essay. “Well, I guess I really did get some good fortune from entering that door.” I thought as I happily put my essay into my folder and got ready to go home.
