I was having a headache but stayed firm. I was very tired but still very confident. To present my ideas to other people was a strange sort of pleasure for me.
When it was my time, I was very confident that my peers would like what I had to say. At least, that's what I thought.
Halfway through my presentation, or rather speech, my tongue stumbled. Until that moment I thought people were listening to me, there might've been some who were listening to me but the majority, nope.
When my tongue stumbled or even before that, the audience started laughing. I told them I'll recontinue the line I was saying. But, someone from the crowd said, "Sure, we weren't listening anyway."
And just like that, I walked down the stage with a speech that was never completed, without a second thought.
An unfinished speech(Talha Ahmad)
