Aly got drunk on wine even before the food came, but she didn’t care cause she was to busy watching Noah struggle with the cheese grater. “Come on you little arse.” He said as he tried to crank the lever, but ended up scraping his finger on the grating part instead. “I’d like to see you try and tell the difference between blood and marinara sauce,” Noah said as he clenched his finger and put the cheese grater back on the table. Aly couldn't help but let out a chuckle because only Noah Pell would say that at an Italian dinner. “Waiter.” He said as he quietly called over the waiter and asked for a new fresh meal. “Noah, are you ready to be married tomorrow?” His grandma asked as she retook her seat next to him. “As long as I have this beauty next to me, I am ready as ever.” He said as he pulled Aly closer to him. “I feel like we are ready for tomorrow. We saw the venue, have all our family here, ready for the bachelor party tonight.” He said as he fist-bumped his best friend and couldn't help but catch Aly rolling her eyes. “What? You have your bachelorette party tonight.” Noah said as he caught Aly smirking as he said bachelorette party. “Maybe I can find a hot Italian guy.” Aly teased as she took another sip of her wine. “God I hope so,” Noah said back as Aly playfully hit him. “Hey! Don't hit my best friend.” Alex said as he pushed me and Aly off each other. “Okay, okay, kids quiet down.” My dad said as he and my mom stood up at the end of the table to address everyone. “We just wanted to thank everyone for coming to beautiful Rome to help us celebrate the wedding of Noah and Aly. We wish them much happiness and success in their future as a new couple. I would like to propose a toast to them, so if everyone will please raise their glasses.” My dad said as he gingerly picked up his toast glass and held in the air. “Too much happiness and success in the future. Congratulations Noah and Aly. We love you.” Noah’s dad said as he clicked his glass with his wife amid soft cheering from all around the long table. “Thank you, dad,” Noah said as he softly kissed me on top of my head. The waiter finally came around the corner with Noah’s fresh meal. “Thank you so much,” Noah said as he dug into his meal. “Do you guys have a lot of traveling plans for your honeymoon?” Noah’s brother, Artie, asked. “Yea, we mostly want to stay in Italy, we mainly want to go spend a few days in Sicily,” Aly said as she watched out of the corner of her eye, Noah shove a whole roll in his mouth. “This is so good. Who knew an Italian feast would taste so good?” Noah said as he mushed risotto, fish, and pasta together and forked it into his mouth. “You better save some of that nastiness for the bachelor party tonight.” Noah’s other brother, Sean, joked as Noah nearly choked on his food, he was laughing so hard. Everyone at the table looked over to see why Noah and Sean were dying laughing. “You okay boys?” Their dad asked as Noah shook his head yes. Noah’s dad seemed to buy it and went back to his food. “Aly? Are you ready to go?” Aly heard from behind her as a finger tapped her shoulder. She turned around to see her bridesmaids Anna, Kayli, Stella, and her maid of honor, Sydney standing behind her. “Yea. Behave boys.” Aly said as Noah kissed her goodbye, and she couldn’t help but feel sad since that’s the last time they would see each other before the wedding. “What are we doing for the bachelorette party?” Aly asked curiously as she tried to keep up in her high heels with the other girls. “We have a few things planned. Lets go back to the air bnb first and then we will decide what to start with.” Her girlfriends said as they started walking down a long and narrow street. “Can we at least get a pastry since it is my party after all?” Aly tried not to beg as they walked past a pastry shop. “Okay.” Her entourage agreed and Stella spotted her $20 for any pastry she wanted. “Ill be right back.” Aly gidley said as she pushed open the bakery doors and was instantly rewarded with the smell of Italian pastries. “Good day ma’am. My name is Josh. How may I help you?” A handsome guy said from behind the counter. “I’ll take one cannoli, one pound of angel wings, and an zeppole.” Aly said as she could feel her mouth started to drool with excitement. “That will be $21 or you can give me your phone number and it will be free.” The casher flirtingly said. “Im actually on my bachelorette night. I am getting married tomorrow.” Aly said as she flaunted her diamond ring. “What a lucky man. Do you know what your doing for your bachelorette night?” Josh asked as he grabbed various pastries and put them in a box. “No, my bride team is handling all the events. I think though they mentioned we are going to some famous monuments now that I think of it.” Aly said as she quietly questioned herself. “Well have fun. You must go to the Trevi Fountain, its tradition for a young bride or groom to throw a coin in before he or she gets married.” Josh stated. “Is that so?” Aly sarcastically asked. “Maybe you should use it then.” Aly flirtingly said as she walked out the door. “That will be $21 still ma’am.” Josh yelled from behind her, but she was gone before he could catch up. “You ready now?” stella asked as Aly stuffed her face with the cannoli. “Yea.” Aly said as she was whisked down the street by her girlfriends. “Its so pretty here.” Alice said as we made our way down the alleyway and stood in front of a building. “here we are, the Airbnb.” Stella said. “Guys, this isn’t our house. Whose house is this?” Aly shockingly looked around as she took in her surroundings. They were at a huge, brick apartment building that seemed to go into the sky forever, it was huge. “We have a surprise for you.” Anna beamed as they took me by the arms and brought me into the lobby of the building. “Welcome. How may I help you?” The bellhop asked as he took our backpacks from us. “We reserved a room, the last name is Oppen.” Stella said as the bellhop stared at her with a blank look on his face. “Last name.” He mumbled out. “Didn’t change in the last 2 seconds I said it, Oppen.” Stella said. He typed feverishly into his computer and finally reached around him and handed us the keys to a room. “Thank you.” Stella said as she rolled her eyes and we walked away.
