It was a dark Monday morning, and I stood in my school bus's stop in my over large raincoat. cars zoomed by the water splashing on the pavement. Then I heard a distant honk which stood out. I pulled on my bag. My school bus slowly emerged from the traffic. I didn't wait. I walked briskly towards the bus and clambered up its stairs. Inside the bus was the opposite of what it was outside. I joined the back seat of the bus. I usually sat there with my friend Abdul (who I called tubbybear) and unfortunately one of my classmates. His name is sid, but he is so short that all of us call him "The dwarf". Though sometimes I call him my English teacher. He gets so irritated, he just sits there doing nothing. I am 7th standard and the average height of a middle school kid is 54-84 inches. You know sids height? 39 inches. Tubby bear and I shared some songs we had learned. Then we played a small game of cards (we couldn't finish it). Our bus conductor, Asha, gave all of us banana and jackfruit chips. I recognized a large bump coming up so I gave all of my chips to sid. BAM, all of sid's chips fell out. With a lot of gossiping and pinching we reached school. I got down and walked to my classroom doubling up in laughter.
