Making Love to Life
- A Completely New and Fresh Perspective on Spirituality
By Charles E.J. Moulton
Aspire to find the best of what's inside you. The best feelings inside your soul are real places, as real as your home town, the house you live in or your favorite restaurant, otherwise you wouldn't be able to find those places, would you?
That's what my angels always tell me, not so much in words but in the signs life gives me. And life has led me to love and everything love is. Love does not exclude. It includes. Love does not forbid. Love allows and the trust creates stability and cooperation. Love is not of this world and does not think in sociological norms or rituals. Love is an embrace.
See no difference between the loving embrace between two people and the love-making between two people. Because there are no differences between the two. Two people making faithful love has never hurt anyone. And it does create new lives. In more ways than one.
So why is it that we still are so prude and extreme about sex? Prude and extreme? Yes. Our shame creates a prohibition and like all prohibitions it focuses on the forbidden and makes what's forbidden stronger. To forbid something is a prerequisite to ensure extremity. No shame means integrating something into your nature and stabilizing the emotion. You can only stabilize something by focusing on what you want, not what you don't want. The feeling follows the thought. Reality follows the feeling.
So here we are, at a moment in our evolution when we know that we can prove that everything is connected and that love and anything that is filled with it is and remains good.
If one energy connects the entire universe, we are individual aspects of one conscious universal intelligence. If that is true, then faithful respectful lovemaking binds two people together for one moment literally making them one. There is rarely a natural act more obviously spiritual than sex performed out of true love. If sex was just the merely physical act people make it out to be, it wouldn't be as exciting, would it? I would even say that it could be one of the most spiritual acts one can experience, performed respectfully and faithfully.
And equal respect is the key word here. No sniggers, no dirty jokes behind held up hands, no slippery comments. Respectful and dignified lovemaking. Passionate and crazy, sure. But also faithful and forthcoming.
But prolong this to the world. Blend in with everything in life, try to see its spiritual core. When we do fall in love with someone, we love the being, not the body. Making love is morphing with someone else's energy.
A new language does nothing else when it evolves. The father, Roman Latin, made love to the mother, a Gallian dialect, and created a baby, the language of French. A new artistic style does nothing else when it evolves. The father, Renaissance Music, made love to the mother, the Theatrical Drama, and created a baby, the Opera. Nature does nothing else on a daily basis. Father Sun and Mother Earth create plants. The merging and loving of two forces creates new life. The Earth and the Moon have been making love for millions of years. That relationship makes "Gone with the Wind" look like a comedy routine.
That doesn't mean that everything is about sex, though. It's the other way around. Sex is a manifestation of a natural need to merge with other concious sources of energy, because it mirrors the place we come from. The next dimension. God's world. So, strictly speaking, when we make love to our spouses, we do so passionately because we want to merge, explore and discover unity, harmony, closeness, oneness and God. But because society tells us that sex is a sin, we feel like the kid caught with the hand in the cookie jar when we admit we love having sex. But that doesn't mean that we are dirty sods. It just means we do what God intended for us to do. Reproduce. That, in turn, does not mean we should not be responsible, faithful and respectful about it. It does mean, however, that being ashamed of it will lead to excess and abuse. Merging and meeting, building bridges is part of life. Stay faithful to your spouse, though. That is a prerequisite for stability. And stable you will be. Purity has nothing to do with sex. Purity has everything to do with kindness and love. Purity is the original embrace.
We all know how it feels when we fall in love. We all know what it feels like when we reconcile with someone after a fight. We all know how it feels when we suddenly have good contact with someone we avoided in the past. That's the emotion behind the reason why we love sex. Closeness, tenderness, friendship. The need for closeness and touch. Or, in a better word, love. The bigger picture cannot exclude sex as little as it can exclude speech or laughter or tears or Mount Everest or Tom Hanks son or whale songs. Everything and everyone has one energy source. God. Call it the universe. Any crime or perversion is just a result of shame. That was the downfall. Not sex.
We say love heals everything, but we part love into categories, giving love rules and regulations. We are secretly in a love-hate relationship with society, saying it holds the keys to spirituality, but actually afraid what the power authorities will say if we say what we feel, thinking that we have to eat the dishes society seves us.
The worst thing is that we seek spirituality out there inside society, as if God is somehow hidden in a corner and we just can't find him, either he is a secret king or a stranger on a bus. Or both.
We believe that a top clerical position automatically ensures spiritual perfection, when we at heart know it isn't so. We confuse God with religion, so much so that we believe that people who leave the church have become atheists. But, again, God is not religious. We invented religion to understand God and then we blame people who don't obide by the rules we prescribe. Would you believe that God is closer to you than you ever might have imagined? There's only one ground rule: do unto others what you would have them do to you. In a simpler word: love. Love is no fuzzy word we use to decorate the world with scented candles. It's a real high vibrating frequency.
The biggest problem is that society brainwashed away our personal faith over 1700 years ago, making us believe we need religion to believe in God. Millions of believers put terrawatts of energy into believing that the bible was written word for word by God, when in fact there were 57 candidates for the biblical gospels - even with female authors - the uncomfortable parts omitted by chauvinist bishops in 325 A.D. Dogma that had nothing to do with Christian faith were declared doctrine. It is high time to reclaim our rights to own our own spirituality.
I believe Jesus walked the Earth sent here by God. I also believe he studied with an Indian mentor in his twenties. There is evidence of that in ancient Indian texts.
I believe the shroud of Turin is a real document of the actual resurrection. If you still believe the hoax that it is a fake, read academic scholar Ian Wilson's grand book "The Shroud of Turin" (Michael O'Mara Publishing Company, 2000). The tested part was taken from a contaminated edge of the shroud requested not to be used because of its 13th century high contamination by dirt. If it were a fake, the artists would have to have had possessed not yet sociologically and scientifically acquired knowledge of the exact placement of the crucifixion wounds. What's more amazing, the picture is not painted. It's a photograph. A flash. There are absolutely no traces of paint or otherwise possible artistic material. Iron oxide could at least technically be used, but try to create an accurate negative unseen by the naked eye only evident when lit up by modern lighting. For an artist to have created a negative would mean to have to light the shroud up from behind with fire. No traces of that was found on the shroud, either. But the major population accepts the thesis of it being a fake because they think the scientists knew what they were doing. But the team that tested the age of the shroud was not objective. The population takes the easy way out, believing what they read. No, the doctors and scientists are not always right. Trust your feelings.
Buddha was spiritual enlightened as was Mohammed and Lao-Tse.
Be that as it may, all religions, in my view, were founded or inspired by masters who in some way received signs from the eternal intelligence of the universe. All the perspectives are different because they have to be. They speak to people with a different perspective. But they are only different roads to the same destination: God. In fact, God is not separate from you. He is in your emotional energy right now. When you pray, you pray to that eternal energy present in you right now. That's why many holy books say that faith is all we need. In the advent (or commencing adventure) of quantum physics, we are connecting science with spirituality, realizing the subatomic vibrations the universe consist of is like the God code (read Gregg Braden's books). Saying God lives in religions is like saying God only lives in one of the rooms of his house. One criteria that ultra-orthodox Christians use as a proof of Christianity's superiority over other religions is Jesus quote that many will come in his name but only one is true. But Jesus spoke in parables, so why should he not speak in parables here as well? He most probably was speaking of God in general and the Gods people make of power or money. Reading the gospel of St. Thomas or the lost texts of the dead sea scrolls will show you a Jesus that spoke of the eternal energy and reincarnation and eternity. Jesus, the pantheist vegan with a New Age style and hippie rebel characteristics, showed himself in full physical resurrection to the apostles to prove to them that there is life after death, but that doesn't mean we will resurrect in physical form after death but in our original form of conscious energy.
Again, if we believe the gnostic gospels, reincarnation was a part of early Christian teachings. Neither was celibacy a prerequisite. But tell that to clerics or organized religion. The construction is based on power and having control over people. Imagine making people realize they are responsible for their own souls? That the power of religions are not a gateway to eternity? That eternity is in us anyway whatever we do. That God does not judge, but just wants us to love. Add to that the thousands of proved accurate accounts of reincarnation (Google Ian Stevenson's books, research Erlandur Haraldsson's researched case of Purnima in Sri Lanka or James Leininger's memories) and you will definitely be closer to understanding how real this religiousless God is. Quantum physics also shows us what we have known since humans walked the Earth: we are energetic beings reading the fields of other energetic beings. The animals never lost this ability. We've surpressed it.
You see now how society has brainwashed you? So much that you think society's invented rules are your own thoughts. They aren't.
Society is a construct. It has nothing to do with love or God. Love is completely spiritual. Love makes no difference between men and women, colors or creeds, races or religions. In fact, religions are only ways to interpret the intelligent conscious love that streams through everything that exists. We call that intelligence God, Allah, Brahman, Manitou. The ancient Greeks even parted that conscious energy into many Gods. We have to realize that if we want to feel God, the origin of everything, we have to look beyond the rituals, the dogma, the letters and words and go straight to the source that was there before the holy books.
For me, all we have to do to know God is to think or feel logically. God is the only logical equation. In fact, if we need a holy book to prove God we have misunderstood everything God is. What was before the big bang? What is after the end of the universe? What is eternity? Who created the first seed?
But this article is called making love to life. What mankind at this point in evolution needs is a more earnest and respectful relationship with lovemaking. I'll be honest about this. I sort of hate dirty jokes, because they really bring people away from their true spiritual nature. I'll rephrase what I said earlier. Why would God create a means for us to recreate and give us the urge and attraction and to act out that need and then call it a sin? If St. Paul assumed priests would marry and have a family, if Adam and Eve's downfall was shame itself, then we must not ask ourselves further where the censorship came from. Celibacy was a clerical invention from the Council of Nicea 325 A.D. to ensure male dominance. Jesus chose a woman, Mary Magdalene, to spread the message of the resurrection. Then we exclude women from clerical office. We see women are more loving than men and yet society banned women for centuries. We contradict ourselves.
Furthermore, it is time to dephysicalize sex. If we admitted to ourselves that a beautiful body is no reason for us to jump into bed with that body, we would just see a beautiful house for someone's soul. We could tell ourselves that a woman is gorgeous, admiring the curves of her breasts like we would admire Heléne Fourment on a Rubens artwork. The painting was made by Rubens. The woman was made by God. What's the big deal?
If we had that attitude, the yellow press would be out of business. Every single gossip column would be useless and boring. Or could you imagine The Sun or The Red Carpet Telegraph calling out "Scandal!!!" when Janet Jackson's dress accidentally slipped, revealing her left breast and forcing her to pay a half million dollars in fine (to whom and what mouths could have been fed with that money?) and what if we had remembered what the animals never forgot? That there is no need for shame. Seeing a woman's breast would be no cause for shame. It would be natural. Which, again, would not require everyone to exploit their bosom everywhere. We would enjoy our spouse's bosom ten times as much at home respectfully and responsibly.
Quantum mechanics shows us that our spiritual energy, charisma or aura, call it what you will, is as real as Roetgen or radio waves. Electrons entangle and know of each other's actions across large distances. So, again, the energy of God is logical. We just need to go to the source. All we have to do is to test our own energy out there in the real world. Everyone, even atheists and agnostics, live and feel that energy all the time in every situation. We sense moods, we know when someone looks at us, we think of someone and that person calls, we trust our intuition and something good happens.
The Institute of Heartmath launched a groundbreaking project to measure the connection between the Earth's magnetic field and the magnetic field of the human heart, whose synaptic nurites are five times as strong and intelligent as the brain's synaptic nurites. It has been proven that the positive thinking of many individuals in an area increases the potential of peace in their area. People have been sent specifically into war zones to reduce warfare and it has worked. This is based on the real scientific proof of the measured vibrations of human emotions and the magnetic field of the heart. The five locations of the subterranean sensors that measure the magnetic connections. Why does this not appear in mainstream media? Because it gives the individual more power and diminishes political power. But the peaceful revolution has started. This is a new age. The Age of Aquarius. Where we know that the magnetic fields of the Earth, Moon and Sun affect our own magnetic field. That's what astrology is about. It's a part of everything that is. It's a part of God.
So you see, dear reader, love has real positive and powerful implications on everyone's life. We are 99,9 percent empty space and the rest is vibrating energy. Faith alone will save you. Not faith in religion. No. Faith in God who was there long before any religion existed. You can reach him now. He's hidden in your feelings and talks to you through your life.
The universe is your playground. Your energy is your shovel. Build a sandcastle based on love. Make love to life. It will create a miracle.
Make love to life. Create marvelous babies and call them hope.
