The Power Of Prayer.

The Power Of Prayer.

It was around 6 p.m. Sarah remembered she should be attending the thanksgiving prayer which was hosted by her friend at 7.
She immediately dressed up and got ready to go, clutching her Bible in her hands.
The thanksgiving ceremony was a wonderful one. A few people shared their testimonies which inspired Sarah a lot. She believed in the Lord like never before. She kneeled down to God and asked for forgiveness. After the prayer, she felt the Lord's presence with her. After dinner and a few discussions, it was time to leave.
It was around 10:00 p.m. when she walked out. It was pitch dark. Sarah knew it was not safe yet she had to reach home. She slowly walked among the streets. When she walked, she spotted two people who looked tall and strong. She at once recognized it was them. Now let me tell you, 'they' were cannibals. Sarah knew that they never let people live. Before killing people, they stripped clothes and peeled skins.
A shiver went through Sarah's spine. Yet, she remembered the testimonies she heard and quickly moving her bible close to her heart, breathed a prayer. She did it quite sincerely though. She believed in the mighty power of Prayer and God.
She moved along and as she was passing them, she saw a huge astonished look on their faces. Yet, she went home safe.

Morning came. Just when Sarah was drinking coffee, watching television, came the news. The exact people whom she saw yesterday were showed on the screen. Along came the news that they had killed a girl who came on the same way as Sarah. The girl was killed just minutes after Sarah came along. Sarah was so shocked that she dropped the cup with a clash. She immediately went to the police station to express her curiosity. On taking permission to meet the accused, she asked them why they didn't harm her. They replied, "Young lady, we thought of killing you but just as you were approaching us, we saw two men beside you who looked fresh and clean. They wore white clothes and had swords in their hands. They looked like Angels."

Tears dripped from Sarah's cheeks. Her prayers were answered.
She realised the power of prayer and thanked God.
"How great thou Art!"

I personally do not believe that your story is TRUE. However, I do believe that prayer can be a powerful force, as well as faith, and that it is entirely possible that at least some of us have guardian angels. So I think there may be some true elements to your story. It was definitely interesting and a bit scary, especially the part about peeling skin off. Thanks for sharing your story of surviva...

'Peeled skins'.
Sounds horrific.

I am going out to find some cannibals. There's a Bible in my hand. I'll pray in front of them and ask them to take a photo of they see any angels behind me. Then I'll open my eyes, turn back and take selfies with them. I'll upload them on the internet. I'll be world famous after that.

Well, It's true that I love your stories. It's because the way in which they are written is beautiful. They are full of feelings.

Your first story was a hundred times better than mine.
