'The Unkempt'
Born 1988, M, from Biratnagar, Nepal.jpeg)
This poem is dedicated to JD.
She must be a wonderful lady.
Her comments keeps me thinking.
I try to picture the world that's all but sinking.
Here it goes,
The ugly is the beautiful, hence the unkempt.
The set of sight, the sight of the set, the prospective.
I like things unkempt in its natural-'ly' order.
The feminine exists in her purest divine.
The feminine is the nature.
The earth her womb.
Humanity so unforgiving, we are headed for the doom.
The dirty survives in all of us.
The dirty is invisible.
The plastering, the chemicals, an unnatural deity.
The rawness, the self, an enchanted mighty.
Well, who values who, who is the judge of it?
Societal renaissance, a must needed spiritual meet.
Who am I to tell you how black differs from white?
Who am I to judge when you drink tears from your darkest flight?
The sun will shine and it will shine again, and then again.
The moonlight, the wind, the storm and the rain.
The roar of the mighty, an invisible deity, the serendipity of it.
You ask me what is "beautiful" and I tell you it's the natural state of things.
Of boys, girls, men, women, and all the living beings.
A cloud so formative, it shades your vision.
A flower so beautiful, it gives you a reason.
If you paint on a flower, oh! What would it then be?
The beauty lies in the "natural", why can't you just see!
