Them good girls straight masterpieces--”
The Audience
Holly: Oh, look at him, Rachel. He’s such a dream boy.
Rachel: Meh. What about him?
Holly: WHAT? How can you say that? Look at him. He has a sweet voice paired with a radiant look. He is like a literal angel from the heavens.
Rachel: So what? He’s not my type.
Holly: Oh! You’re so glad that the crowd can’t hear us. Forget it. It’s hopeless talking to you.
Rachel: Fine, whatever.
Shane: Thank you all. This is Shane Goldfeder here, your one and only Lone Wolf.
Next Day…
Scene: At the cafeteria.
Rachel: Oh. Is this seat taken?
Shane: Nah. Have a seat. You must be Rachel Rodrigues.
Rachel: And you must be Shane Goldfeder, The Lone Wolf blah blah blah.
Shane: *Laughs*
Rachel: What is it? This Lone Wolf.
Shane: It’s my alter ego type of name. I plan to be a singer after graduating. So instead of Shane, I’ll use Lone Wolf.
Rachel: Smart.
Shane: What do you plan to do after College?
Rachel: Hmmm. I don’t know. I never thought about it. But I hope that I get to spend it with the man I like.
Shane: Ooooh. Does he have a name?
Rachel: Yeah. It’s Shane.
Shane: Shane Watts?
Rachel: Nope.
Shane: Shane Parker?
Rachel: Nope.
Shane: There are many Shanes in this college. Tell me the starting letter of his surname.
Rachel: Okay. It starts with G.
Shane: Shane Grayson?
Rachel: Okay. I can’t do this. It’s you, dumbo.
Shane: *Surprised* Me?
Rachel: You’re the man I love.
Holly: (Hiding behind a pillar) I KNEW IT!
Rachel: (looking at Holly) Holly!! How long have you been standing there?
Holly: A while. Hey Shane.
Shane: (Looking at Holly) Hey. (Looking back at Rachel) Me? Why me? I barely even know you.
Rachel: I don’t know. Ever since I saw you at homeroom, I knew you were the one. You get that feeling which isn’t known to you.
Shane: I don’t know what to say.
Rachel: Take your time. No probs.
Next Day…
Scene: Homeroom.
Shane: Hey
Rachel: Hi. So… you decided?
Shane: Yep. It’s no.
Rachel: Oh. Ok. It’s fine. I expec--”
Shane: You didn’t let me finish. It’s no to “not” accept you.
Rachel: Ohh. Why? What happened?
Shane: Well, this wasn’t a one side love. I fell for you when I first met you at homeroom.
Rachel: Huh. Just to be clear, What is it that you like in me?
Shane: The way you talk. You’re rich, but you don’t show it. You’re green eyes and perfect brown hair. There’s an infinite list. Is it okay if I ask you what you like about me?
Rachel: (Blushing) Hmmm. Your hair. Your angelic voice. The way you sang yesterday, Ohh! I would’ve proposed to you there. And the way you just asked me. I like your politeness.
Shane: (With a smile) So when is our first date?
Rachel: How bout now…
2 Years Later…
Scene: Kenny’s Bar, Nevada
Mike: Finally, College is over.
Alwyn: Yeah, man. Finally free.
Holly: Guys. Did you see Shane and Rachel? It’s 6 pm. They said they’ll come at 5.
Mike: Don’t know. He texted me 12 minutes ago. Said that they were on the way.
Rachel: Hey, guys. Sorry, we’re late. We lost track of time.
Shane: Hey.
Holly: Where were you guys? I was worried.
Rachel: For what?
Holly: I don’t know. You know I get nervous when someone doesn’t show up on time.
Alwyn: Shane. How was the deal? Did you get it?
Shane: (With a sad look on his face)Yeah… about that.
Mike: Oh. Don’t worry. There’s more out there.
Shane: You didn’t let me finish. WE GOT IT!
Holly: OH MY GOD! That’s good news.
Everybody was happy. Shane and Rachel were looking for a new place to move in together. And they found one right next to Tasker Co.
Alwyn: You know what? Drinks are on me tonight. I’ll select the drinks and Mike, and you pay for them.
Mike: Urgh… Always.
Next Day…
Scene: Furniture Store
Rachel: How about that couch?
Shane: Nah. The color doesn’t match the walls.
Rachel: (Frustrated) You know what? We don’t need a couch.
Shane: Come on. It’s not my fault that this store doesn’t have good options.
Rachel: (in anger) We went to 4 shops.
Shane: Even they don’t have good options.
Rachel: (in anger) I’m leaving. We have a dining table, right? We’ll use those chairs.
It was rare that they had fights. Rachel storms out of the shop. That evening, Shane came home late. Rachel was still angry at him. Before they could talk it out, she had an emergency to attend to at the hospital. She was a nurse and worked part-time to earn money until Shane got a job.
Scene: Shane & Rachel’s New Apartment.
Rachel: Shane, I’ll be gone for an hour or two. Check the mail to see if you got any job approvals.
Shane: Sure.
Rachel: You still angry with me?
Shane: No.
Rachel: Ok… Bye. Love you.
Shane: Ok.
Shane was still upset with Rachel. But deep in his heart, he forgave her.
Four hours had passed. Rachel didn’t arrive. Shane found it to be suspicious as he knows Rachel to be an extremely punctual person. He called the hospital to check if she had left.
*Calling*
Shane: Hello. William Bee Ririe Hospital?
Nurse: Yes. How may I help you?
Shane: I was just calling to see if Rachel Rodrigues had left.
Nurse: Ah, yes. She left an hour ago.
Shane:: Ok. Thanks.
*Call Ends*
Shane got a bad feeling about this. He tried to calm himself down but couldn’t. He called Holly to check if she was there.
*Calling*
Shane: Hello. Holly
Holly: Ya Shane
Shane: Did Rachel stop by at your place?
Holly: No. She did call an hour ago.
Shane: What did she say?
Holly: She was talking about a fight she had with you. But midway, her line was cut. Why? What happened?
Shane: Nothing. It’s just that she hasn’t reached home. So I got a bit worried.
Holly: You don’t worry about that. She will reach.
Shane: Hope so. Bye
Holly: Bye.
*Call Ends*
12.05 AM
Rachel still hadn’t arrived home. The whole gang was worried. They called her relatives and friends, but no one knew. Shane went to sleep on the belief that Rachel would return soon.
Next Day…
5.45 AM
Holly got up for her morning jog. She tried Rachel’s cell once more, but it was switched off. She switched on the T.V while eating a PB & J sandwich.
Holly: (Switches On the T.V)
News Anchor: This just in, local pedestrians found a dead body floating in Angel Lake. Authorities arrived within moments of notice and I.D’d the victim as Rachel Rodrigues working in William Bee Ririe Hospital as a part-time nurse. Relatives of the victim have been notified. Not a good start to the day, folks...
Tears rolled down Holly’s cheeks. She didn’t know what to do. She immediately called Shane.
*Calling*
Holly: (Whimpering) Hello, Shane!
Shane: (Waking up) Yeah. What happened, Holly? Are you crying?
Holly: (Still whimpering) I’m sorry, Shane. I don’t know how to say this.
Shane: Holly, You’re scaring me. Please tell me what’s happening.
Holly: Switch on your T.V and check the news.
*Call Ends*
Shane switches on the T.V as told by Holly. But somewhere deep inside, he knew he shouldn't have. He turned to the news channel, and the news hit him like a blunt hammer to your chest. He immediately called Alwyn, Mike, and Holly and headed to the location, hoping that that’s not the Rachel Rodrigues he knew.
Scene: Bank of Angel Lake, Nevada.
The gang reached Angel River. Forensics were still inspecting the body.
Police: Sorry, sir. You can’t come in here.
Shane: My father is the police captain, Captain William Goldfeder. Let me in.
Police: Oh, sorry, sir. But do not make a mess with the body. The forensic team is still gathering evidence.
Shane saw her lifeless corpse lying on the ground, partially covered with a white sheet. He couldn’t take it anymore. He broke down. He ran over to her body once the forensics left and hugged her crying. He begged her to forgive him.
Shane: (Crying) I’m so sorry, Rachel. Please talk to me. Please. I love you---
His friends dragged him out of there before anyone noticed them. But no one was able to control their tears.
Scene: SGS Forensic Laboratory, Nevada.
Dr. Franco: Hey Shane, Long time no see.
Shane: Hey, Franco. Did you get the report I asked for?
Dr. Franco: Yeah. Here’s the report:
Victim: Rachel Rodrigues.
ID: #28643.
Cause of Death: Unknown.
Weapon of death: Unknown.
Time of death: between 12 AM and 3 AM.
Medico-Legal report: The cause of death is still unknown as there appears to be a knife wound near the abdomen area, and a skull fracture caused a minute After the knife wound. Blood report suggests that she had been drugged, which could indicate the mode of kidnapping.
Drug: Heavy dose of halothane.
Shane: Thanks, Franco.
Dr. Franco: Shane. I’m so sorry this happened to you, man. Let me know what I can do to help.
Shane: Thanks, man.
Scene: Holly’s Apartment.
Shane: Guys, We need to find Holly’s killer.
Alwyn: WHAT? Are you nuts?
Shane: I’m serious, Alwyn.
Mike: Why, Shane? We are just regular dudes. This is not a movie. We cannot do it.
Shane: Please, man. The last time I saw Rachel, it ended in a fight. When she was about to leave, her last words to me were, “I love you,” but I didn’t respond because of my anger. I hoped that she would come that night so I could apologize, but she didn’t. And now today, (Starts Crying)... If I don’t find her killer, I won’t forgive myself anymore.
Holly: (Starts Crying) Oh, I’m sorry, honey. We’ll find her killer.
Mike: But Shane, as I said, we are just regular dudes.
Shane: No. Alwyn, your dad, is a PA, right? Do you think he’ll help us?
Alwyn: I guess. I’ll ask him.
Shane: Let’s start with what we know. Rachel went missing at midnight. Post-mortem says that a discontinued drug called Halothane was used to abduct her. Let’s start with that.
Shane called Dr. Franco to enquire about Halothane. Only four pharmaceuticals sell this drug as a practicing drug for students.
They went to each pharmacy and enquired. Only one of them sold it the night Rachel died.
Scene: Zane Pharmaceuticals, Nevada
Shane: Let’s go.
Alwyn: Wait. I’ll go in. Shane, you have that fake ID you always keep with you?
Shane: Yeah. I keep it with me at all times.
Alwyn: Give it to me.
Shane gave the ID to Alwyn.
Mr. Zane: Hi there, How can I help you?
Alwyn: Hi. Detective Alwyn Atkinson LVMPD. I would like to ask you some questions.
Mr. Zane: Show me your ID.
Alwyn showed the Fake ID. But Mr. Zane wasn’t a fool. He knew Alwyn wasn’t a detective.
Mr. Zane: You ain’t no police. Get outta here before I call the real deal.
Alwyn: Alright. I’m sorry. The truth is, My friend was murdered last night. Before she died, we have information that she visited your pharmacy. Is it okay if I get a look at your CCTV footage?
Mr. Zane: Alright. But what’s in it for me?
Alwyn: I’ll pay how much ever you want.
Mr. Zane: Alright. $1,000.
Alwyn: I’ll pay you $500.
Mr. Zane: Nope. Deal is $1,000. Nothing less than that.
Alwyn: Look at me. Do you think that I have $1,000 with me?
Mr. Zane: Alright. Give me that $500.
Alwyn: Thank you, sir.
Alwyn watched the footage and downloaded it onto his phone.
Shane: What took you so long?
Alwyn: He drove a hard bargain.
Shane: Were you buying his shop or getting the footage?
Alwyn: Does it matter? I got it.
At Zane Pharmaceuticals…
Mr. Zane: Hello. It’s me. They were here. A bloke took the footage of the night.
Unknown: I thought I told you to delete it.
Mr. Zane: My bad. They won't get anything out of that.
Unknown: Let’s hope so. If they get a whiff of the air I breathe, there won’t be a Zane to run that pharmacy.
Scene: Shane’s Apartment, Nevada
The gang watched the footage. They couldn’t find anything useful other than a blurred-out photo of a car’s number plate. Mike assured the gang that he would take care of it.
*Calling*
Mike: Hey, Dad.
Mr. McKenzie: Hey, kiddo. How you doin’?
Mike: Fine, dad. Listen… Can you do me a favor?
Mr. McKenzie: Sure, kiddo. What d’ya need?
Mike: I need you to de-pixelate a photo I’m sending and track down a car.
Mr. Mckenzie: Can I ask why?
Mike: I’ll tell you all about it later.
Mr. Mckenzie: Ok, son. I’ll send it to you.
Mike: Thanks, Dad.
*Call Ends*
Moments Later…
*Calling*
Mr. McKenzie: Hey, kiddo. I’ve sent the photo along with the address of that car. Now can you tell me what’s going on?
Mike: Okay.
Mike told his dad what they were doing and expected him to oppose their decision. No, Not their choice. His son’s decision to help ‘em. But to his surprise, Mr. Mckenzie supported him and offered to help whenever in time of need.
Mike: You sure You’re okay with this?
Mr. McKenzie: I’m sure. Don’t hesitate to call for my help next time.
Mike: Thanks, Dad.
*Call Ends*
Mike: Guys. I’ve managed to find the car address. It’s from Mississippi.
Alwyn: Mississippi?
Shane: Guys, Pack up. We’re going to Mississippi.
Holly: Shane, you really wanna go to Mississippi to get this guy? Why can’t we let the police handle this?
Shane: He’s gotta pay for what he’s done. If I bring him to the police, from there, he’d be at the court… I don’t trust our judicial system. If he gets a good lawyer, What we’ve done will be wasted.
Mike: He’s right. He shouldn’t escape like that.
Shane: I have a feeling that this is personal. Whoever did this wants to be found. He wouldn’t be careless not to hide his number plate.
Alwyn: Alright. For Rachel.
Scene: Abandoned Building, Mississippi.
Unknown: Let them come. All of them. Let’s see If he can manage to stay alive once he reaches there.
x------x------x------x------x-----x
2. The End.
The gang took the next flight to Mississippi.
Scene: First Class, Delta Airlines.
Holly: What do we do once we arrive in Mississippi?
Shane: I don’t know. We need to find the details of that car.
Holly: Leave that to me.
Alwyn: I’ll book us some rooms.
Mike: How about I ask my Dad to come?
Shane: Why? Is that necessary?
Mike: He knows about it all. How do you think I got the details of the number plate? Besides, don’t worry. He won’t tell anyone.
Holly: I don’t know. He might be able to help us.
Shane: Alright. Fine.
Scene: Meridian Regional Airport, Mississippi.
Mike: I’ll call dad and tell him to come to Mississippi.
Alwyn: I’ll go with Mike.
Holly: Sure. Meet us at Hilton Garden Inn.
Scene: Hilton Garden Inn, Mississippi
Holly: (Knocks on the door) Hey, It’s me.
Shane: Come on in.
Holly: How are you feeling?
Shane: I don’t know. This all feels too easy. (Coughs) I’m getting a feeling that this is personal.
Holly: Why do you think that?
Shane: I didn’t want to tell this earlier because I didn’t think of it as essential. (Coughs) At the crime scene, I got this scent of Sandalwood. I checked if there any sandalwood trees around that are but no. (Coughs) There aren't any.
Holly: Shane, Are you saying what I think you’re saying? Cause if you are, then we need proof.
Shane: Why do we need (Coughs) proof? We know it’s him. Only he has that much vengeance (Coughs) towards Rachel (Coughs) and me.
Holly: Are you alright? You don’t look too well.
Shane started to cough uncontrollably. This went on for a while until he coughed out blood and collapsed. Holly Panicked. She immediately called 911 and the rest of the gang.
Scene: South Mississippi State Hospital, Mississippi.
Mr. McKenzie: I spoke to the doctor. It’s serious. Shane has Stage 2 Cancer. His blood showed high levels of benzene, a type of chemical found in gasoline. Long-time exposures can cause Cancer immediately.
Holly: What? But how?
Alwyn: How serious is it?
Mr. McKenzie: He can get weak unpredictably. They’re preparing him for chemo once he regains conscience.
Mike: God!
Meanwhile… Shane was experiencing memories of Rachel like a flashback sequence. He was falling through the memories of their first date, first kiss, first fight. In his mind, he feared that his time had come to an end. When he fell through each memory, a light was closing in on him. When he knew he reached the end, a hand reached out and pulled him towards the light. The next thing he knew, he was standing on water. And in front of him stood Rachel.
Shane: Rachel? Is that you?
Rachel: Yeah.
Shane: How? Where Am I?
Rachel: In your mind. The subconscious takes the form of the one you love. Yours took Rachel’s.
Shane: Tell me who your killer is.
Rachel: I can’t do that. But you know who it is. You just aren’t sure. Go with your gut. You always trusted it. Why, doubt now?
Shane: I don’t want to go. I wanna be with you.
Rachel: You know you can’t do that. Now Wake Up.
Shane woke up. The monitor on the table beside him beeped faster than before. The nurse called out for the doctor. After a while, the doctor allowed visitors.
Shane: Hey, guys.
Alwyn: Hey. How are you?
Shane: Fine. Not bad.
Alwyn: Great. I’ll go pay the bill and come.
Holly: Are you sure it’s not bad?
Shane: Yeah. I feel a little weaker than usual. What happened? I don’t remember.
Mike: About that. Listen to me. Don’t freak out. I’ll keep it straight. The doctor said you have Stage 2 Cancer.
Shane: WHAT? How?
Mike: You were exposed to high levels of benzene. But we don’t know how it happened.
Shane: How long was I out?
Holly: 2 days.
Mike: Listen, man. Is this all worth it? I mean this revenge?
Shane: What do you mean?
Holly: He means that is it necessary? I respect you for avenging Rachel. But again, is it worth it?
Shane: You were her best friend. How could you say that?
Mike: She can say that. We lied to our parents about going on vacation for a month. They think we’re having fun. What would happen when they find out you died? What would we say? That we were looking for your girlfriend’s killer?
Shane: If you don’t want to help me, just go. Next time, say it directly to my face. Just get out.
Mike walked out of the room in anger. Holly gave Shane a look of worry and followed Mike shortly after. Alwyn, who had just returned, had no clue of what happened.
Alwyn: What happened? I saw Mike walking out in anger, and Holly followed him.
Shane: Nothing. From now on, we don’t need their help. We’re on our own. You with me?
Alwyn: Yeah, man. For Rachel.
Alwyn later found out what happened. But he kept quiet. After three days, Mr. Mckenzie, who was also not aware of his son’s break with his friend, informed Shane that he had good news.
*Calling*
Mr. McKenzie: Shane, I found two addresses related to the car. One of them is an apartment in 68 Dogwood Hill Rd, and the other is Yazoo County Agricultural High School, Benton. The latter was abandoned in 2009. I looked into the place and found out that the area was repurchased a few years ago by Mr. Montgomery.
Shane: Does anyone live here?
Mr. McKenzie: I don’t know. Some people say that the place is haunted. The see someone come in but don’t come out.
Shane: Ok, sir. Thanks a lot.
Mr. McKenzie: Don’t mention it.
*Call ends*
Shane left a voicemail for Holly informing her that their suspicion was right. All he had to do was get out of the hospital. He grabbed his clothes and left. Alwyn helped him. After driving for a while, they reached the address. Alwyn, without Shane’s knowledge, called Mike and Holly. But it went straight to voicemail.
Scene: Yazoo Agricultural High School, Mississippi.
They entered the building. Spooky and old. Most of the pillars had moss all over them. Some of the rooms had chairs and tables, still intact. One of the blackboards had ‘Get Me’ written in bold. Alwyn had chills crawling up his spine slowly.
Huge blocks of concrete restricted the entrance to the upper floors. Shane, making sure his steps were silent, reached a greenhouse. It was the most extended room in the whole building. The glass, covering the top, was missing. Fertilizers, scattered on the floor, concealed a significant part near the shelves, which contained seeds for various flowers. The view outside the greenhouse wasn’t awful either.
Alwyn: Dude, let’s go. I don’t think there’s anyone here.
Unknown: Not so fast, Alwyn.
The voice echoed through the walls. Shane turned to see someone walking towards them. But he was prepared, for he knew who the mystery man was.
Shane: Hello, Zach.
Alwyn: Zach? From college?
Zach: In the flesh.
Shane: Why? Why did you have to kill her?
Zach: What else was I supposed to do? Both you and Rachel ruined my life. She was my girlfriend, and you snatched her away from me. When I tried to get her back, you had your father get rid of me by falsely accusing me of theft.
Shane: You didn’t tell the whole story. You made her life a living hell. She tried to get away from you as much as you can. But no. You didn’t respect her privacy. You simply started a fight with me. You got me suspended for a week for something I had no part in.
Zach: I don’t care. My life was ruined, not yours. My family didn’t want a criminal living with them. My sister is the only one I have now. I wanted to make you pay for what you did. So I tracked you down and was with you everywhere. The fight in the furniture store made me sure that you would fight with her even if she forgave you. Her path back to you gave me the chance to kidnap her and kill her.
Alwyn noticed Shane. His eyes, filled with rage and fists clenched. But also at the same time, he was losing balance.
Zach: I then realized you would stop at nothing to find her killer. So I set up a plan. I followed you again everywhere. The pharmacy guy was on my payroll. He told me you were getting close. I was your flight attendant, poisoning only your drink. And my, you drank a lot. Again at the hotel, I was your room service. I poisoned your glass again. All I care about is your death. And you only have a week to live.
Suddenly out of the blue, two lights started to close in in Zach. The lights were coming from outside. Before he could take another step, A Mini Cooper S rammed onto him, knocking him 10 feet away from where he stood. No one could’ve predicted that, not even Shane or Alwyn. Mike stepped out of the driver’s seat.
Mike: Yo!
Alwyn: Holy Shit! Great timing! But why did you have to kill him?
Mike: It just happened. A spur-of-the-moment thing. And besides, he deserved it.
Holly: What do we do about him?
Mike: Let him be. Shane---
Shane collapsed to the floor during celebrations. The floor was covered with drops and splatters of blood. Alwyn and Mike carried him. Holly drove. They raced against time for him. Holly drove faster than before, honking at every car that came in her way. They reached at the nick of time.
Doctor: Don’t worry about Shane. He can be cured. But it will take some time.
Holly: How long?
Doctor: I’d say two months, give or take. His condition is improving, which is lucky for him.
Mike: Thank you, doctor.
Two days later, the news broadcasted a dead body floating in the Bay Springs Lake. Local pedestrians couldn’t identify the face as they never knew him.
Two Months Later.
Shane’s condition improved. He had to take medicines for another two weeks and the doctors assured him nothing would happen after that. His condition wasn’t announced to his parents yet. So he had to take them without their notice. Without waiting further, they returned to Nevada.
Mike: Shane. I’m sorry. I should’ve known better.
Shane: No probs. I shouldn’t have forced you.
Mike: No. It was my fault. Rachel was a dear friend of mine. I too, would’ve wanted to kill him if I was in your place.
Shane: You don’t need to worry about that. Past is Past. What happens in Mississippi, stays in Mississippi. Let’s go.
Back Home
Scene: Shane’s Apartment, Nevada.
Shane: Mom! What are you doing here?
Mrs. Goldfeder: Nothing, Just thought of visiting you. Tell me about your trip.
Shane: We were all still bummed by Rachel’s death. I suggested that we return. That’s when we came across this guy.
He was hunting a lone wolf by himself. Beside the lone wolf lies a female wolf. She was dead. Blood continued to flow through her gunshot wound. The hunter shouldn’t have done that. Two to three wolves ambushed him from behind. All of us had to see the wolves kill him.
Mrs. Goldfeder: Oh, God. I pity his soul.
Shane: Never mess with a lone wolf.
Scene: The Goodsprings Cemetary, Nevada.
Father John: Dear friends and family, today we have gathered here to bid farewell to a lovely woman, Rachel Rodrigues. Does anyone have anything to say?
Shane: May I?
Father John: Sure, young man.
Shane: They say there is a reason. They say that time will heal.
But neither time nor reason will change the way I feel. For no one knows the heartache that lies beyond my smile. No one knows how many times I’ve broken down and cried. Rachel was someone very dear to me. It shouldn’t have happened to her. When we moved to my apartment, we made a lifelong pact of being there for each other till the end of time. I still hope that she’ll be there with me. Rachel, you are a wonderful woman who understood everyone. You were one of the angels God sent. You are lovely to think of, but hard to be without. There cannot be any goodbyes, fo it’ll be painful for both of us. I’m sorry for the fight that we had on that day. It was foolish of me. Had I known that you wouldn’t return--
Shane stopped as he felt the tears rolling down. Rachel’s parents witnessed it all and broke down. The people present there left only after leaving their tears for her.
Scene: Holly’s Apartment, Nevada.
Holly: That was a beautiful speech.
Shane: Thank you.
Alwyn: I’m so sorry that it happened to you.
Shane: It’s okay. No worries.
Mike: Shane, come here.
Shane: What is it?
Mike: Dr. Franco dropped by the funeral and handed me her things. I thought you want it.
Shane: Oh… Thanks.
Shane got her bag. He checked if there was anything. Other than makeup and her phone, there was one other thing. An envelope. He took it out. The letter was addressed to his name. He opened it and received a piece of news he had not expected: “Mr. Shane Goldfeder, We, Tasker Group of Companies are proud to tell you that we’ve accepted your offer and you can come anytime within the next three months,”
Alwyn: What is it?
Shane: Her last gift.
Two weeks later.
Scene: Greenwoods Graveyard, Mississippi.
Zach’s graveyard had a visitor.
Unknown: They will pay for what they did to you, brother. I’ll make them.
Lone Wolf 2 Coming Soon…

Shane:: Ok. Thanks.
