Love vs a prophecy
F, from Toronto, CanadaShe had always been this way. The silence of others is more pleasurable than anything else in the world. I knew this is where she belonged. This is her home. This is her destiny, but I wish I could have changed it. I reached out for her hand and smiled hoping she wouldn't see the sadness, but she did and yet there was not a hint of love or comfort in her eyes. Not a hint of regret or pain. The eyes that once had galaxies were now reflections of blood and hatred. The colours that she once wore had been erased. The words that were once a blessing was a curse. The way she is now… isn't the girl I fell for. Only darkness seeps. She is a storm herself. I hate sharing these last moments with her in….toxicity. I felt my heart break as these words replayed in my head. Tears trickled down my cheeks. The wind picked up and howled fiercely. The trees danced along with the ocean waves swallowing everything in its way. The clouds darkened. New life is taking its first breath and old life is taking its last. I just dont want her to die. It isnt her time yet. A second is enough for us to be the way we used to be, to shine without a prophecy living within our bodies. To continue living on, but our love wasn't strong enough to beat the world.
