We still have Hope- Chapters 5,6,7(Anushree) Chapter 5 - Who is Lilly?

Note - ∆ sign is used to show that Hope is reading someone's mind. It won't be used often as most of the time Hope would tell others what the person is thinking but when she only hears it and not tell others this ∆ sign will be used. And the name of the person would be given before the ∆ sign.

*Footsteps*

'Girls where are you going?' asked Mrs. Campbell

'Mom we are going to the basement to find your junk... I mean your high school memory box,' said Hope.

'Really,' said Mrs Campbell, 'You guys hated it when I used to talk about my high school.'

'Why this sudden interest now?'

'What are you guys planning?'

'N... nothing mom, Destiny has an assignment on... How your parents high schools were?' said Hope.

'Ya mom,' said Destiny, 'I just need to see the pictures and some other stuffs for my assignment.'

'Ok!' said Mrs. Campbell, 'Do you need my help?'

'No!' shouted both of them

'Fine! But be careful there is a lot of heavy stuff down there which your father didn't bother to look at,' said Mrs. Campbell.

'Let's talk about this over dinner,' said Destiny

'Let's go Hope.'

Mrs. Campbell ∆ I sure gave birth to weird daughters. I just don't get them ∆

Hope smirked and walked down towards the basement.

'Hope switch on the light please,' said Destiny

The basement was now clearly visible and it was not good. All the stuff was lying here and there.

'We better get started,' said Destiny

After 2 hour of continuous searching Hope and Destiny found the junk box, I mean the box full of Mrs. Campbell's High School memories.

'Hope help me,' said Destiny, 'The box on top of the junk box is very heavy.'

'Yes,' said Hope

Hope then used her power to control the air and lifted the box so that Destiny could get the junk box.

'Huh!' said Hope, 'That was easy.'

'Easy?' said Destiny, 'It took us 2 hours to find this box.'

'Let's take it upstairs to mom,'

'Let's go,' said Hope

*Footsteps*

'You two finally found the box,' said Mrs. Campbell, 'I was about to come downstairs,'

'We found it,' said Destiny

Hope then opened the box. Mrs. Campbell then took out some pictures and showed it to her daughters.

'You see this girl with a Bob cut that me,' said Mrs. Campbell

'This picture can never get old, you looked so funny', said Destiny

'Ha Ha' said Mrs. Campbell sarcastically, 'And this blond girl is Laura.'

'Shut up!' said Hope, 'That is Mrs. Bailey?'

'Don't you dare shut up me,' said Mrs. Campbell

'And yes this is Mrs. Bailey, she used to look very different back then.'

'And why are you guys acting so surprised?' said Mrs. Campbell, 'You've seen all of this before,'

'Don't spoil the fun mom,' said Hope

Mrs. Campbell then took out another picture of her and another brunette girl.

'Who is this mom?' asked Hope

'Oh! This?' said Mrs. Campbell, 'This is Lilly.'

'Do you have any another picture of her or any pictures of The Ambrose Academy?' asked Destiny

'Um yes,' said Mrs. Campbell, 'Here they are.'

Mrs. Campbell took out some pictures. Hope took the pictures and then said, 'This is enough thanks mom,'

'Let's go D.D.'

'But what about the others?' said Mrs. Campbell

'We will see them some other time mom,' said Destiny

'And who will put this box away?' asked Mrs. Campbell

'We will do it later,' said Hope

Mrs. Campbell ∆ Weird Kids ∆

*Footsteps*

*Thud*

'So this is Lilly,' said Hope, 'D.D. do you think you can try face search in see if Lilly in any social media platforms.'

'Yup!' said Destiny

Destiny started to scan all the pictures while Hope was examining the pictures to find something, anything, and then she saw it.

'D.D. can you zoom on the pictures you scanned,' asked Hope.

'Yes just a sec,' said Destiny

Destiny stared to zoom in the pictures and Hope took out a picture and a writing pad and started she stared to draw something.

'It's done,' said Hope, 'You can zoom out now.'

'What did you draw?' asked Destiny

Hope slid her right sleeve down and then looked into the mirror with the drawing next to her shoulder.

'What are you doing?' asked Destiny

'Don't you see it?' asked Hope

'See what?' asked Destiny

'See this drawing and the mark on my shoulder it's the same,' said Hope

'Oh yes,' said Destiny, 'So, you and mom's mysterious friend have the same birthmark?'

'How is that possible?'

'It can be a coincidence,' said Hope

'How can it be a coincidence?' said Destiny, 'It not possible for two different people to have an identical birthmark.'

Destiny looked at the pictures and then said, 'Even the place where your birthmark is the same.'

'Both of you have two stars on your right shoulder,' said Destiny, 'Does that even seem right?'

'Even the internet says that two people having matching birthmarks is uncommon,' said Destiny, 'It can only happen when are related by blood and mom's friend and you are not blood related.'

'But why do we have an identical birthmark?' asked Hope

'I don't know, We'll figure this out later,' said Destiny, 'Let's just focus on the academy right now.'

Destiny ∆ Try solving one mystery and just rap yourself around another ∆

'Your right,' said Hope, 'So, what did you find out though face search?'

'Well no Instagram, no Facebook and no Twitter,' said Destiny, 'She is only tagged in a few pictures, and we have them right her.'

'Except this one,' said Destiny

Destiny showed her the picture, it was Lilly with a few other students.

'Wait I have seen this man before,' said Destiny
She then took out a picture she had printed before.

'Take a look at this,' said Destiny, 'The principal of The Ambrose Academy.'

'Can you see his social media accounts?' asked Hope

'Huh!' said Destiny, 'It's there.'

'Look at this picture Hope,'

'That's that last picture of Lilly ever posted on social media,'

'Girls! Your father is here, come down,' shouted Mrs. Campbell.

'Yes mom,' said both of them

'Well tomorrow is Monday and make sure to register for the A.A.M.' said Destiny, 'And we will figure this birthmark thing later.'

'Deal,' said Destiny

'Deal,' said Hope

*Thud* *Thud* (Door closed)

*Footsteps*



Chapter 6 - Canyon Crest Academy

*Running engine*

'Love you dad,' said both of them

'Love you too girls,' said Mr. Campbell

*Door closed*

'We go straight in to the reception and register our names,' said Hope

'Aye Aye Caption,' said Destiny

They went straight to the reception and registered their names for the A.A.M.

'Now, getting inside the school is covered,' said Hope

'Let's hope so,' said Destiny

Hope went to her locker and Destiny to hers.

'Hope did you hear,' said Carter, 'The A.A.M. is in the academy in which Jason is.'

'This is perfect.'

'Yup!' said Hope, 'Better than you can imagine.'

'You introduced Carter to Jason,' said Alex, 'Maybe your mom's friend has another hot son.'

'So, can you introduce me to some of them.'

'First ew,'' said Hope, 'Second no.'

'So, there are more hot guys,' said Alex

'Hmm, Hope wants them for herself,' said Carter

'No,' said Hope

*Entered Austin*

'Hi Carter,' said Austin

'Helloo!' said Hope sarcastically,' You know we are also here.'

*Giggles*

'Ya right,' said Austin, 'Hello everyone.'

Austin ∆ Carter is looking so good today, huh she looks good every day ∆

'Wow Austin!' said Hope, 'You really are hopeless.'

'What do you mean?' asked Austin

'What she means is that you need to get over me,' said Carter, 'You look like a love sick puppy for heaven's sake.'

'We promised each other that even after the break up our group will stay the same.'

'But…' said Austin

'For god's grace it was just a five-day relationship,' said Alina, 'Get over it already.'

'Where did you come from?' asked Alex

'The corridor,' said Alina, 'Where else can I come from.'

'So, everyone has applied for the A.A.M.' asked Carter

'I can't come this time,' said Alex

'Me too,' said Alina

'Why not,' asked Carter, 'Without you too who is going to help me find Jason.'

'Don't look at me,' said Hope, 'I'm not doing any of that shit.'

Carter ∆ Why can't she be more like Alex and Alina ∆

'My grandpa is sick,' said Alex, 'So, we are going to meet them.'

'Well my dad said no,' said Alina

'Fine,' said Carter, 'Then it's just the three of us.'

'Four,' said Jaden

'Here comes puppy number two,' said Alina

'Hey!' said Cater

'Were you worried Jaden?' asked Alina sarcastically

'Why should I be?' asked Jaden

'Don't you remember?' asked Alina, 'The last time you were absent for three days, Carter started dating Austin and you sent her a lousy message.'

'Break up with Austin and I love you but not more than Keira,' said Alina

'Man that's a classic,' said Alex

Jaden ∆ What is wrong in loving them both, I guess they've never seen The Vampire Diaries ∆

'Jaden you should probably quit watching T.V.D.' said Hope, 'That's a show and this is real life.'

'Their rules don't apply on real life.'

'How did you...' said Jaden

Announcement- Dear students the final list for the A.A.M. will be declared tomorrow.

'Let's go to class,' said Carter

*In class*

'Good morning class,' said Miss. Carpenter

'Good morning Miss. Carpenter,' said the students

'So, who is ready for a pop quiz?' said Miss. Carpenter trying to sound excited.

'You know Miss. Carpenter pop quiz are not exciting,' said Rose (Their will be random names of students)

'I know but you have to do it anyways,' said Miss. Carpenter, 'Here are your papers and no cheating.'

Miss. Carpenter ∆ This is what you get when you are not interested in what I'm saying ∆

'Believe me or not she is evil,' said Hope

'I have no doubt about that,' said Carter

'Girls I said no talking,' said Miss. Carpenter

'Sorry ma'am,' said Hope and Carter

*After the test*

'No, wonder she is not getting married, that women is crazy,' said Carter

'It is my choice to not get married and you have no choice but to go to detention,' said Miss. Carpenter, 'Next time I'll get you suspended.'

'Watch out.'

'Oh oh,' said Hope

'Don't worry it doesn't bother me anymore,' said Carter, 'I get these threats twice a week.'

'See you,'

'See you,' said Hope

*Lunch*

'Hey! Hope,' said Destiny, 'I got selected.'

'How did you know?' asked Hope

'Mrs. Stewart told me,' said Destiny

'Don't worry you'll get in,'

'Let's wish that's true,' said Hope, 'See you after school.'

*After school*

'Bad news,' said Hope

'Now what?' asked Destiny

'Mom is not coming to pick us,' said Hope, 'We have to go by ourselves.'

'Apparently, going to shopping with her friends is more important to mom than picking us up,' said Hope sarcastically

'Think of it as an opportunity now we can go and get the stuff that was left,' said Destiny

'Your right let's go,' said Hope, 'How much money do you have?'

'200 dollars,' said Destiny

'How do you have so much money?' asked Hope

'I save, unlike you,' said Destiny

'Gess, what are you my mother? let's go,' said Hope



Chapter 7 — The shopping trip

*In taxi*

'So do you remember what we are supposed to buy?, asked Destiny

'Yup I made a list that day and I have added a few more things,' said Hope

'Great we are here,'

'Let's go,'

*Cough* *Cough*
'Oops, here is your money, thank you,' said Destiny

* At Target

They wandered around target looking for items.

'So, what do you think of this black dress?' asked Destiny

'I think we should be looking for a jumpsuit with a cap,' said Hope

'We have to hide dude, we don't have to do a fashion show,'

'Ya, your right,' said Destiny, 'And we should also buy black masks so that no one would recognize us.'

'Yup,' said Hope, 'We got black shoes right.'

'Yes, we do,' said Destiny

'We have got pepper spray, the outfit, and we can pick the stones from outside, and we'll buy the snacks on the last day,' said Hope

'So, am I forgetting something?'

'Let me remember,' said Destiny
She looked around to remember, but she saw something else or should I say someone else.
She hides her face and turns around.

'Hope, Hope,' said Destiny

'Gezz what?' said Hope

'SUS boy at 4 o'clock,' said Destiny

'Jason! What is he doing here?' said Hope

'Why are you shouting, he'll hear us,' said Destiny

'Maybe he has already,' said Jason

'Jason what a surprise,' said Hope, 'What are you doing here?'

'He's here to shop,' said Destiny, 'What else would you do at target.'

'I come to target a lot of times to wander around,' said Hope

Destiny ∆ Stop saying stupid things. Let's get out of here ∆

'Right,' said Hope, 'So, see you around.'

'Wait,' said Jason, 'I have a few questions.'

'Why?' asked Destiny

'Well cause every time I see you guys you act strange,' said Jason

'No, we don't,' said both of them

'Yes you do,' said Jason, 'Like right now you were hiding from me,'

'No,' said Destiny

'Yes you were,' said Jason, 'Hope didn't Destiny ask you to stop shouting, or I'll hear youand Destiny I saw you hiding your face from me.'

'No she didn't,' said Hope, 'Aactuallly... she was asking me to stop shouting or the security guard will ask us to leave.'

'Why are you being such a detective,' said Hope

'Really? And the last time we met at the housewarming party you guys left suddenly left me with your friend who was rather interested in my life,' said Jason

'She is not my friend, and we left you because we had work to do,' said Destiny

'Really?' said Jason, 'Your work was to move around the house and stare at my family members for a minute or two.'

'That's not true,' said Hope, 'And why were you staking us at the party.'

'Well I have recorded it, so do you want to see it,' said Jason

'I wasn't staking you guys, I was looking at you guys cause you guys were acting suspicious.'

'It's the same thing AND WE WERE NOT ACTING SUSPICIOUS,' shouted Hope
As soon as she shouted all the stuff on the racks next to her fell down.

Destiny ∆ Oh oh ∆

'What the hell?' said Jason

'W... We need to go,' said Hope, 'Sorry.'
Hope stared walking towards the counter and Destiny followed her.

'We would like to buy all these items,' said Hope

'That will be 197 dollars,' said the lady

Hope handed her the money

'Thank you,' said the lady, 'Come again.'

They both took a taxi home. They were both silent on their way home.

*In Hope's room

'I am so sorry, I lost it in there,' said Hope, 'Thank god no buddy else was there.'

'Ya no buddy else except Jason,' said Destiny, 'And I'm sure that he is suspicious about you now.'

'I know,' said Hope, 'And it's all my fault.'

'Come here,' said Destiny, and She hugged Hope tightly

'You are not using the peanut shampoo right?' asked Hope

'I am,' said Destiny

Hope pushed Destiny(It wasn't a strong push, just enough to stop her from hugging)

'I'm just kidding,' said Destiny

'We are in deep trouble now aren't we,' asked Destiny

'Yeah,' said Hope, 'Hopefully we can find a way out of it.'

'Girls I'm home,' said Mrs. Campbell, 'Come down I bought some clothes for you guys, see if you like it.

'Coming mom,' said Destiny

'Stop it,' said Destiny, 'I don't like it when you put on your disappointed face on.'

'Let's go down, mom bought us something that might be good, Emphasis on the might.'

'Hey!' said Mrs. Campbell, 'I have a great sense of fashion, I always buy you good clothes.'

'Sure mom,' said Hope sarcastically

'Let's go,' said Destiny

*Door closed*
