The dreaded winter
Oh, how I miss the summer’s breeze,
And how I hate this winter freeze.
In summer, you never call it quits,
In winter, you have to put on your mits.
In summer you can have a doze in water,
Oh winter, why are you such a horror?
Well, it’s not like I hate cheerful Christmas,
Oh, do I hear a beautiful chorus?
The only morning of winter I jump out of bed,
and strain my eyes for a figure in red.
Oh, how I long for presents under the tree,
So, I can rub by hands with glee.
The Christmas Tree stares at me with suspicion,
Wondering what is my ambition.
I wonder if I hear a reindeer grunt,
Is that Dasher up on the front?
Oh, maybe winter is not so bad,
So, I better not be so sad.
