Chapter 1 - The real fun - The Story
Hello! Myself, Maroona! I love research work, thus, I was doing some research on rocks. That was actually my new office project. I liked to research, so I did it with my heart. And, to describe myself in one word, I’m quite effervescent. ‘Ting tong, ting tong.’ ranged the doorbell. “Hmm...who might have come right now?” I pondered. Anyways, I opened the door and it was one of my colleagues, Malmana. “Hi Maroona! How’s your research on rocks going? As we work in the same office, we can do our research together. I’ve found a very eccentric rock which is not normal but is very useful.” chirped Malmana. “Oh really!? That’s great! And I would love to do this research with you! By the way, what is the rock’s name?” I uttered. “The rock’s name is Talmary. It is said to be a very special rock. It was lost in the 19’s century and after that time, no one was able to find the rock again. It is believed that the rock is powerful, and can move from one place to another. It might also harm the people depending on it’s mood.” declared Malmana. “Oh wow, then that might be very special! And let’s find that rock! Mission on!” I cracked up. “No, Maroona. We two can't find it. Think for yourself. You think that a rock that no one was able to find since the 19’s centuries, will come in our hands?” asked Malmana. “We all can always try! There is no limitation of 2 things, 1st one is telling the truth, and 2nd one is trying. So, will you come? ” I cleared it to her as well as asked. “You’re right. Okay, let’s go!” She announced.
Chapter 2 - Mission on!
Malmana then dragged me to find the rock with her. I then stopped her and said, “Let’s not go now as we don’t know the following things - 1) Where the rock was lost. 2) The rules to handle the rock with safety. 3) How can the rock be useful to us? If we won’t clear these things up, we will never be able to find the rock.” I proclaimed. “Let’s search on the internet…” advised Malmana. We then researched a lot, and found out the answers for the 3 questions we had. “The rock was last lost in the Indus Valley civilization in the early 19’s century. We need to handle it with care as it’s fragile but it is very convenient as well. It is not normal like all usual rocks. Many people try to find that rock, but, unluckily, they always fail to find it. It can harm you a lot, if it’s not in a good mood. So, be careful.” Malmana read aloud from a website in an informative way. “Thanks. Now, come on, Malmana. Let’s find the rock. We luckily live near the Indus Valley Civilization. Let’s go!” I framed. “Sorry to say this, but, I don’t really think so we will be successful in finding the rock. Referring to the website, I guess we can’t find it.” refused Malmana. “Seriously? You should learn to at least try. Websites are not always right. We might find it. And if the website is right also, it doesn’t mean we can’t find it. The website didn’t really mention that no one can find it, right? It just said that many people went to find it but could not. So we should try to find it, Malmana. Everything is possible, nothing is impossible,” I explained it to her. “Yeah, you are right. We should try to find the rock. Thanks for waking my soul up Maroona! I will do my best to find that rock!” agreed Malmana. “Thanks. Now, let’s not waste time. Let’s find the preternatural rock!” I declared. She then nodded her head in agreement. We both then went to the Indus Valley Civilization. “Maroona! Oh my! Is that the rock? The one that is shining there? That looks peculiar” asked Malmana curiously. “I don’t know, let’s see what it is, most probably, it might be a diamond. But no problem in checking as well.” I replied. “Sure” agreed Malmana. We then went there, it wasn’t a diamond, but, something very new and special! Wow! I then ordered Malmana to check what this was. “Okay Maroona. Oh wow! This rock is a very gleaming rock! It’s rare! It’s name is Gleamery. But it was found by many people. Anyways, we found something useful, right?” said Malmana. “Yes, we are successful in our office project, but our mission is yet to be completed. We need to find the rock as soon as possible!.” I signed. “Yes, you’re right.” replied Malmana.
Chapter 3 - Roaming around
We were trying our best to find the rock, but, after 2 hours of searching also, we couldn’t find it. We were very disappointed, and today, for the first time, I was too! Suddenly, a girl came running towards us and she said, “Hi Maroona ma’am! I’ve heard a lot about you. You are a very kind-hearted person that helps everyone! And I’m sure you will help me too! I’m Criptha. There’s a big problem!! I need your help! I had found Talmary (the rock) here yesterday. I was quite happy that time but the problem was, my jealous friend Laila, stole it from me and went to America. So please help me find the rock!! PLEASE!”. I then replied, “Hi Criptha, why not!? I will surely help you. This is my friend, perhaps, my best friend, Malmana. She will help us find the rock too.”. “Yes, I will help too. But, what will I get in return? I need something.” said Malmana greedily. “Hi Malmana ma’am, I guess I will put your name and Maroona’s name in the newspaper that you guys helped me too. Is that enough or you want more?” asked Criptha. “Sure! That will work. But please don’t call us “ma’am”. We aren’t ma’ams. Okay? “ requested Malmana. “Okay Malmana. Thanks. It was actually hard to call “ma’am”.” said Criptha. “Haha, yeah. True.” replied Malmana. “Why are you people chatting? We need to help Criptha as soon as possible.” I announced. “Yes, and thanks Maroona ma’am.” thanked Criptha. “No problem and PLEASE DON’T CALL ME MA’AM”. “ I cleared it for her. “Okay Maroona, haha, I knew you would say that. I was just testing you. Sorry if I made you feel sad.” apologized Criptha. “Oh okay. It’s fine Criptha. It’s actually funny!” I laughed and said. “I know right..” Criptha agreed. “Great! And now can we find the rock? Please?” requested Criptha. “Yes yes, sure! Let’s go!” I announced. Before I went, Malmana dragged me to the corner and whispered in my ear, “Maroona, don’t you think we are roaming around? We needed to find the rock on our own, isn’t it? So why are we helping her?”. “It’s fine. We need to help everyone. And we can know about the rock as well. Our name will come in the newspaper, so, why not help her?” I whispered back. Then she replied, “True. Let’s find it.”. We then went with her to find the rock.
Chapter 4 - Fooling us?!
We booked the ticket to America by flight really soon. When I was walking next to Criptha, she was laughing! I felt something wasn’t right, but I never said no to helping anyone, and so I went to the airport. When we were sitting in the lounge, eating yummy ice-creams, Malmana felt a little sick so we went to the help centre. Over there, she was treated and felt better than before. Our journey was pretty good, but my senses told me that something is not right and I shouldn’t have come to America. Anyways, I didn’t mind and went on with Malmana and Criptha. When we reached America, Criptha took us to a very weird and creepy place. I felt something very bad was going to happen with us. Criptha then took us to a room. She then locked us inside the door. “GET US OUT OF HERE CRIPTHA!!!!” we shouted in aggression and anxiety. “Hahaha! You guys trusted me, and that’s so shameful about you people! Me and Laila and bestest friends. We don’t want you to find the rock and so we brought you guys here. Now you guys can never ever come out of here. Hahahaha!!” laughed Criptha.
Chapter 5- Unbeliveible!
We were crying and were very sad to believe such a bad girl. I then prayed to god and said it aloud, “God, you’re the one who can do anything! Me and Malmana don’t want to be stuck here forever! Please help us God!”. Then, suddenly, Laila unlocked the door and said, “Hi Maroona and Malmana, sorry, my friend Criptha does this to every person and I always save him or her. This time, it’s you both. I’m here to save all of you!”. I couldn’t believe that Laila unlocked the door and saved us! Yay! God is the best and no one can ever take his place! I first thanked god in my heart and said to Laila, “Hi, yeah it’s fine but please explain this to your dear friend that doing this is illegal. Okay?” . “Okay Maroona. Sorry. Will explain.” said Laila. We then went back to our home, India and did our work. “Look Maroona, I already told you. Criptha was trapping us and I knew something was fishy but you said no as if she wasn’t trying to trap us. We also wasted so much of our time and still didn’t find the rock!!” shouted Malmana in anger. “How would have I known that she was trapping us!?” I shouted back. “Okay but you should have trusted me!” she replied. “Stop it, Malmana. Let not argue at this point of time. I know it was my mistake but everyone makes some or the other mistake. Let’s forget that and find the rock!” I told her. “Sure, and sorry I became angry at you.” apologized Malmana. “It’s fine, and now let’s go find the rock!” I declared. Malmana immediately agreed and we went to find the rock.
Chapter 6 - To the secret place
When we went to the indus valley civilization, a man was standing there and asked us, “hello, this is the registration form bill you need to fill before entering the indus valley civilization. Please fill”. “We want to find a rock here, that’s it.” I told him. “Okay but for that you need to enter the indus valley civilization. Thus, whoever wants to enter the indus valley civilization needs to fill the form.” he declared. We then agreed and looked at the form. Many weird questions were asked in the form, like “what is your phone number - ___________________. When is your birthday - ___________________. Where do you live - ________. Bank details - ___________________. I was so shocked! Why would they need the personal information? I felt something was not right and I told Malmana, “Let’s go from the other side.” I suggested. Malmana then agreed. “Excuse me, we are going home. We don’t want to enter the Indus Valley Civilization. Thank you.” I fooled him. “Come on, let’s go from the other secret side.” I told her. “Okay, but is it safe?” she asked. “Yeah , of course.” I cleared it with her. She then agreed and we headed to the indus valley civilization’s secret place to enter. We went from the back secret place which only I knew. The advantage was that no one could see us, and the disadvantage was, there were many insects there. One of them fell on Malmana’s head and she shouted, “AHH!”. I then told her to stop and quietly go from that place. When we reached there, the scamming man could not see us and so we were lucky.
Chapter 7 - The shocking moment
We were then trying to find the rock. Some sound was coming from the extreme east of the indus valley civilization. It was quite creepy and I was slightly afraid. When I went near the sound, I realized that something was glowing there. I didn’t wait but I went and picked up that thing. And guess what, I had found the rock! That was the rock in my hand! Yay! Woohoo! I then showed that to Malmana. She was so shocked and she said, “Oh wow! You found the rock! Congrats! Now let’s tell the NDTV channel.”. “No!! Perhaps, never! If we tell the NDTV news channel, they will keep the rock in the museum. And our aim to find the rock was to know it’s secrets and how to use it. This is a secret. PLEASE DO NOT TELL ANYONE” I requested her politely. “Sure Maroona.” she agreed.
Chapter 8 - The magical powers
Malmana then said, “Hey I need to go now. I’ve some work. Bye!”. I then waved my hand saying bye to her too. I then thought of using the rock to do good things and test it if it is that rock. The website I found was about the rock Talmary. It said to activate that rock, i needed to chant a mantra and that was, “ROCK, ROCK, ROCK, ACTIVATE PLEASE! LA LA LA LA LA LA LA. LOOLOO LOOLOO LOO.”. I then chanted this mantra. The rock then started to fly and it made a very weird sound. I was scared, but still, I didn’t stay back but fought against the rock’s powers. It then was going to hit me, but then, I took a pan and hit it back. It then took out sparkles from itself. It was going to attack me, but then I chanted the mantra to deactivate it. It was, “DEE DEE, DEACTIVATE PLEASE ROCK!”. It then was deactivated. I then learnt about the rock a bit, but not fully tough. Finally, in one or two weeks, I had learnt fully about the rock! Woohoo! Yay! Before handling the rock, I called Malmana and I told her on the telephone call, “Hello Malmana! Please come explore a lot more about the rock.”. “Hi Maroona! Sorry can’t come as I'm my native in London. Plus I’m not interested to know about the rock anymore. Sorry again. Bye!” she replied. She immediately dropped the call and didn’t even let me say a thing. I was kind of disappointed but it’s fine. I’m with myself and I believe more in myself.
Chapter 9 - The successful mission
As I already did explore about the Talmary rock, I started referring to the website and did all those things on the rock. This time, I wasn’t blank about the rock, but I also found out how to defend myself from the harmful powers of the rock. I then read the mantra again to activate the rock. It was activated and it was going to attack me. I then read another mantra which is used for making the rock our friend. This is the mantra, “Nonononononono ooooo! Do not attack me! I’m friendly! Calm down please!”. After chanting that mantra, it didn’t attack me. I then said, “Hi Talmary, I’m Maroona. I’m your teacher as well as your owner and gave you the power to activate. Please listen to me very carefully. Always do good things and never hit anyone. If you hit someone, that person will be hurted and might become sick. I hope you will listen to your owner.”. It then started titillating me and looked happy. The mantra to make him speak was,”Speak speak Talmary! Talmary! Please! Your owner asks you to speak!” and, I chanted it. After chanting that mantra, Talmary said, “Hello ma’am. Okay, I will never hit or trouble anyone. I’m sorry if I hitted you in the start but I promise I won’t do it now to anyone.”. Yay! It listened to me! Woohoo! I’m so happy now! Now I’m his owner! Yay! Mission successful!!!
Chapter 10 - Behind the Indus Valley civilization
Talmary then asked me, “I’ve one question, where is my house? I mean, where did I come from? Where did you find me?”. I then told him, “You were found behind the Indus valley civilization. Let me take you there.”. I and Talmary were very happy and I took him there. When we reached there, he was quite unhappy and so I asked him, “Why are you sad Talmary? This was where you were found.”. Talmary then said, “Why was I found in such a dirty place on the ground? That is why I’m sad Maroona ma’am.”. “Look, you should not be sad for these things. Just be happy that I found you, right?” I pampered it and said that. “Yes ma’am, thanks for cheering me up.” replied Talmary. I then said, “You’re welcome!!”. We then went back to my house.
Chapter 11 - The injured crane
As we were moving on the way, we saw an injured crane. It was crying with pain. Talmary then asked, “Ma’am, can I help him?”. I was happy to hear that from it and I replied, “Sure! Glad to hear that from you!”. It then went and took a bandage and a healing powder I had given it for an emergency and he put it on the crane. After sometime, the crane was absolutely fine. The crane thanked Talmary and me and went on it’s way again. We then went to our house.
Chapter 12 - Goodbye Talmary!
Seeing him helping people, I decided to give him a free life and leave him alone as he was brave and intelligent to go through his daily needs as well as to help people. I then hugged it and said, I think you’re brave enough to go through your daily needs and to help people. I want to give you a free life. So goodbye Talmary. Please come to meet me often.”. It then started crying and said, “Okay ma’am, and I wanted to thank you so much for activating me, and for teaching me good things, as well as for teaching me how to speak! Thank you so much ma’am!!!!!”. “Haha, that’s my pleasure Talmary!” I declared. He then went away crying. I too cried a lot and missed it forever and ever. I could never have forgotten it. I would like to thank God for this little rock friend Talmary.
