The mouse who lived in the old house.
There was a little mouse and he lived in an old house, he lived with his mum and dad.
He would run around all day and play, but some days he was sad, he wanted things he never had .
He wanted to go out side beyond the big tree, he knew there were things there he would love to see
So one morning when his mum and dad were still asleep he went outside just to have a peep .
Then he went beyond the big tree and said said I feel so young and free.
So he walked along singing his song when he came to a Lilly pond and saw an old frog on a log.
Hi I'm the mouse who lives in the old house, the old frog opened one eye and said "what are you doing in the park don't you know it's going to get dark".
So he walked along singing his song when he came across a bee Hi I'm the mouse who lives in the old house and I'm out and free.
The bee said "I think you are silly in the head did you not listen to what the frog said".
So he walked along singing his song when he saw a bird building a nest and then it stopped to have a rest.
Hi I'm the mouse who lives in the old house and the bird said "I can see that you're a mouse and you should be in that old house not in the park as it is going to get dark."
He said you sound like that bee I don't care I'm young and free so he walked along singing his song.
The next thing he knew he was in the air and a cat was holding him by his tail "What took you so long I've been waiting for you since I heard your song"
He wriggled and cried and called out for his mummy. He wriggled and wriggled and spun around and then he fell on the ground.
He ran thought the grass and he was really fast he ran past the frog who was a sleep on the log and then he got to the old tree he said there is my house that is were I want to be.
He ran through a hole and onto his favorite chair and his dad came in and said to him "you look like you seen a cat but that can't be because
You're the Mouse who lives in this old house."
