Arise!
Born 1990, M, from Lagos, NigeriaA certain Indian boy, Aarush, was born in a remote farming village called Dharnai, Bihar state, India. Dharnai had no form of civilization as at that time, but crudely engaged in their minute farming activities as the only means of livelihood. Life in Dharnai was the true definition of the phrase “life is hell”.
One day, Aarush became tired of doing the same thing over and over again, and resolved to embark on a journey, in search of better ways to farm. This did not go down well with his family and friends who did everything within their powers to discourage him from embarking on the fateful journey.
Aarush did not allow them to stop him. He set out to a journey of no known destination, but only driven by his strong resolution to find a better life for himself. After many weeks of wandering through many jungles and surviving many adversities, he eventually found himself in a little civilized village called Gangadevipalli.
Gangadevipalli had better ways of farming, better cultures and better approach to life. Aarush settled there for twelve months, mingling with them, and learning their ways. After a while, he decided to go back home. His people needed to grow. His village equally needed to develop.
Aarush returned home, spread his news skills and in no distant time, his kinsmen began to practice his teachings. Today, Aarush is remembered in Dharnai as the father of Dharnai civilization.
Now, lets take a few tips from this illustration.
Everyone in Dharnai needed help, they needed a change, but nothing happened until Aarush made the move. He intended to save himself at first but then upon doing so, he ended up saving the entire village from obscurity. Maybe if he did not take that ultimate step, Dharnai would have been in darkness till date, who knows?
What about his family and friends who tried to stop him? I’m sure they must have been so thankful to him upon his successful return. Yeah, that’s how it always turns out. When you try to make a move, people would want to stop you, stand in your way, or stop you entirely. When you manage to break through, the same people will gather to celebrate your successes. No one will remember the past, only the glorious present.
So now, what is holding you back? Do you know that the happiness of many people depends on that positive move which you have refused to make? Think about the number of job opportunities that you would create if that deal pulls through. Think about the sweet night rests and the fulfillment that comes with success. You too, deserve to sleep with a smiling face.
Time to act is now. It doesn’t matter what has been lost in the past, or how long you have stayed down. Pick up your bag, it’s time to recover all. Don’t mourn your losses, consider them as adventures. Make monumental memories of them and let them guide your present and future endeavors. Someone needs what you have. Rush now, go give it, go get paid.
If the budget is not enough, cut down or design a better project that the budget can finance without stress. Do not borrow. Only borrow when you have more than thrice the value of the amount stored up either in cash or in assets.
Do not forget the place of gratitude in your journey to the success. Endeavor to always apply the word “thank” at every possible chance. Someone said that a “thank you” well said guarantees the next meal. I would rather advise you make the word “thank you” a habitual culture instead of an ordinary survival technique or skill. When saying "thank you" becomes a habit, you may not even know the time when you get to say thank you to someone who may have secretly hurt you and then get them to change their minds out of remorse, and undo what they have done. That is the power of “thank you”.

06/11/2021You're setting a very high standard here, Darlington. I hate labels, but if pushed, I'd say your stories are Neo-Fables. You write such profound cautionary tales and weave valuable lessons into your expert prose. Fantastic work. : )
