Easter In An Asylum

Friday April 13th, 1988, a girl who had gone missing a year earlier was found in an underground bunker. When the police officers found the person, who locked her down there, she had a mental breakdown. She could not take it, so her parents sent her to a mental asylum. She did not know what was happening at first but once she got there things got dramatic.

While she was there, she started to have seizures due to stress. Day by day her mental state kept getting worse. The week before Easter she had an idea, she was going to break out of the mental asylum on Easter. She knew she had to try to convince the staff that she was sane. She knew that the task would not be easy.

Easter morning after her morning game of Monopoly she walked through the asylum, setting up her escape. After that she went back to her room but when she walked by her escape spot the equipment was taken down. So, she quickly thought of something. Her idea was that she would volunteer to help put up Easter decorations. At 2pm they did the Easter egg hunt. In the middle of the hunt she escaped the mental asylum. It worked at least for a little while. Once she escaped she tried to find her way home. Little did she know one of the nurses followed her. After 15 minutes the nurse caught her. The next day she was found dead in her room. she had committed suicide. When the final report from the coroners office was released it said that she had an intentional drug overdose.

Interesting story! It caused me to wonder whether there was some kind of hanky-panky by that nurse. ?
