The Magical World(Martha Kang) "Come on Ace!" I said as I sprinted across the field. The black german shepherd raced through the tall grass as I threw the frisbee high up in the air. Today was a big day! Ace was going to be a show dog!! Today is the first show Ace ever went to! I was so excited. I jumped high in the air and twirled around. I brought Ace back home and put on his collar. "Matilda!! Groom Ace before we go!!" My mom yelled as she put on her shoes. I took the blue brush and started brushing his fur. His fur was shiny and wavy, it looked beautiful! Then, I brushed his teeth with the beef flavor toothpaste and walked him into the car. After a long 20 minutes, we arrived! The big gray building towering above looked gigantic! Suddenly, I saw something shining next to the door. I held Ace's leash so tight my hand started to sweat. The shining thing looked like a big bubble, but stuck on a wall. I touched it and...my hand went right through! I've always believed in magic, but this...THIS!! I trembled as I stepped through. Then, Ace sneezed. He sneezed again! "Ace, are you-ACHOOO" I paused to look around. There were little creatures with tiny wings - fairies! There were huge lizards with gigantic wings - dragons! "Magic IS real!" I squealed as I pet Ace on the back. It turned out, that we sneezed because of the fairy dust! Suddenly, a fairy came up to me. She was really small, probably the size of an eraser. "Hello? Why am I here?" I said as I looked at her in the eye. She shivered as I waved my hand at her puny face. I could tell from her eyes that this situation was bad. Her face had an "uh-oh" sign all over it. I tried to pet Ace, but he wasn't there!! I looked around, searching for a furry black animal running. But I couldn't find him. I forgot about everything that just happened. I had JUST lost my dog.
