The Nerdies(Archisha Srivastava) Once upon a time, there was a school named Rainbow Highs. The school had many brainy students like Zach, Roger, Pantry and Daniel. Those were the top smartest children in the whole school. They were all friends and they made a club for themselves called “The Nerdies”, and they weren’t ashamed of their name either. Even though the whole school was jealous and hated them. They used to hate The Nerdies so much that when they asked “What would you do if you were a Nerdie?” to another guy, the other person would reply “I would rather die than become a Nerdie.” The school did that just to annoy the group.

However, The Nerdies did not care about other’s opinion. It was their choice and they wouldn’t let anybody break their special bond. One day, a new kid came to Rainbow High. He was a transfer student from Switzerland. His name was Fred. The Nerdies were curious about Fred. Lately, they had been looking for another Nerdie. They wondered if Fred would be the one.

The other day, The Nerdies had a meeting. In the meeting, Zack said, “Hey guys! Do you guys think that Fred would be the one?” Daniel replied, “I don’t know. He might be a hater.” “But we will never know if we don’t take the chance!” Pantry exclaimed. “I agree with Pantry. I mean, I don’t really get the point in just assuming and not knowing for real,” Roger said, looking at Daniel and Zack. “So it’s settled. Let’s ask Fred tomorrow, after school.” Said Zack. Everybody seemed to like the plan.

The next day, after school, they met up with Fred. “Welcome to Rainbow High, Fred! I am Pantry. These are my friends, Roger, Zack and Daniel.” Pantry said sweetly. “Hey! It’s nice to meet you all! Why did you ask me to come here, by the way?” Fred asked. “Well, have you heard of the group, The Nerdies?” Zack asked, rather nervously. “Oh yeah! I heard it’s a boring group in the school. But I think it’s pretty fascinating! I actually wanted to find out who are The Nerdies, and meet with them. I kind of wanted to join their group, as I heard they are smart! I am real brainy, too! They used to call me “The Big Brain” back at my old school.” Fred said excitedly.

As soon as the Pantry, Zack, Roger and Daniel heard what Fred said, they immediately smiled. “Would you like to join in The Nerdies? We would totally let you in! And for your info, we ARE The Nerdies!” All of The Nerdies practically screamed excitedly! “Awesome!” Fred said, and they did a five–way fist bump in the celebration of having Fred as another Nerdie. Zack, Pantry, Roger and Daniel were happy to have another member in their group while Fred was happy to fit in his new school. It was a win–win situation for all!
