I am superior, I can wipe you off the face on the earth. You will not see me coming, you will not know I am coming.
I will wipe out your family in a matter of weeks. The hunters are everywhere,
You can not elude the hunters. We are superior.
You can not hide, we will find you. You can escape to the country, but we will be not far behind you. You can set sail on the open seas but we will find you.
If you are weak, if you are old, if you are vulnerable the hunters will track you down. We can multiply by the day and by the night. The hunters never stop.
With your dying breath, you will wonder where we came from and why you.
Why was it your planet that the hunters invaded?
The old man
I am alone, I have tubes coming from every part of my body. I only see people with white gowns from head to toe. I don't even know if they are male or female. Their faces are completely covered.
The hunters have devoured my entire family. There were no goodbyes, no time for tears. No time to grieve. No funerals. No flowers.
The hunters, hunted them down. They smothered them, they choked them. They surrounded their bodies and clung to them, feasting on their vulnerable prey.
They devoured whole towns, whole cities without anyone even laying an eye on them.
The old man was dying, struggling for every breath. He whispers to a nurse.
“What do you call the hunters”
The nurse answers. “We call them Covid, Mr Smith, it's called Covid.”
Night turns into day. A nurse walks in. Turns off the life support and pronounces Mr Smith dead.
The nurse announced in a very solemn voice.
“Number 10,510,907 dead from Covid. When will this end? Or will it end when the last of us take our final breath.”
The hunter's will eventually take us all.

10/29/2021Gail,
Sadly, this is a true story acted out every day. Post it notes on glass doors to say goodbey? It is heart wrenching. And in my country...well, people are willingly leading the Hunter to its prey. I have several neighbors who got it, survived, but now need oxygen, or can only walk a few hundred yards and then they are out of breath. And they aren't even considered in the statisitics. They are the long haulers.
It makes me cry.
Smiles, Kevin

10/29/2021Thanks very much.
Oh Kevin, that is so sad. Over this way we are still in lockdown and the grand kids are over it.
They won’t open up until Auckland is 90% vaccinated.
Antivax people are holding back making things a bit hard. But I guess they have their reasons.
Take care my friend :-)
