My princess, my little sister. She died. It’s already three years ago, but I don’t think I’ll ever get over it. She was my everything, my best friend. The worst thing is I am slowly forgetting her voice. My parents act like she never even existed. I know it hurts them, it hurts me more, but I don’t think they’ll ever see that. They were always gone, to different countries for work.
When I was eating breakfast today the doorbell went. My parents are away again, so I went to open the door. Opening the door there is no one, I am only to be met with an envelope. I pick it up and close the door. I opened the envelope, there were pictures in it. I look at it, and what I saw shocked me. I let the pictures fall and I slide down the wall. My little sister was in the pictures, with the date of last week. My mind went crazy. Could it indeed be her? Is she alive? Was it true? Why would she fake it?
I picked the pictures up and went to hide them in my room. There is a place on the envelope, maybe I should go there. I take my keys and step into my car. It’s an hour’s drive, but that doesn’t matter.
After an hour of driving and biting my nails out of stress, I arrive. I step out of my car and walk to the door. Knocking on the door I stand there shaking, scared for what will happen. The door opens to be met with the girl I missed for three years. The girl I thought died. The girl who I cried over every night.
