Sports Day

The rays of gold medallion blanketed the ‘City of Lights’. A frenzy of human activities were going on as people entered the colossal ‘National Stadium’. Vibrant colour balloons enveloped the entrance as fans entered the stadium carrying plethora of air-horns and humongous hands for support. Students were sauntering around the track waiting for the race to start. A cacophony of sounds resonated as the blasting music and unwavering support clashed together. Finally a loud shout signified the start of sports day.

Students rushed to the tents to take a sip of their Gatorade and then bolted in their assigned lines for the national anthem. As the students marched to the ground, the relentless support of the audience did not stop. After screaming the national anthem, they displayed a beautiful P.E Display. The use of vibrant pom-poms left the audience awestruck.

Now it was the moment of truth as the races were starting. Sprinters were lining up on the track. As the race began, the audience was teeming with excitement. The races looked as if the children were racing a Lamborghini. The shout and screams of people developed motivation in the students.

As the races were finished, the sprinters gathered on the field with an aura of eagerness of who is going to win. The curiosity in people came to an end as the Monters had won. Some people had frowns and some had smiles on their faces. The Monteranians screamed and yelled in joy while holding the gold trophy.

As the game ended, people emptied the ground. In a few moments, the ground once filled with people was left with nothing except a few confetti pieces.
