The door of the classroom opened, I walked into the room. I heard whispers about a person. That person was me. They were saying things like “ Why is she so quiet” or “ Why does she never talk”. The Answer to those questions is fear. I fear everything. There will never be one day where I walk into any place without fear in my mind. I sat down. The teacher passed our tests back from yesterday. I wish that I could look down at my test without the fear of failing, getting sick, talking, and thousands more. I disappoint myself by letting my mind fill with fear. I calm myself and finally get the courage to look down at my test. I have received a 100%. My mind calms and my head clears for the first time. The next second fear comes back to me. There is an outburst of pain in my head and my whole body feels numb. The malaise feeling that is always with me vorsens. I take deep breaths to help calm myself down. My body goes back to feeling normal. I think about my fears. I think so deeply that the pain comes back. I want to scream. A sound wakes me. That sound is the bell. I run as fast as I can. I run to the bathroom and cry until everything is out. I have so many questions. Why am I so scared? I ask myself. There is no response. I calm myself down and think positive. I smile which is rare when I am not around my family. Something tingles inside my body. It is an emotion, an emotion that I have not had before. It is taking over Fear. There is no fear in me, just this new emotion that I like to call Happy. I walked into a room for the first time without feeling fear.
