Lost(Any Santos) There was a girl named Cordelia. She has brown hair and green eyes, she has multiple qualities like being honest, brave, happy and is distractible. She is short and one of her weaknesses is that she looks very small. She was on spring break from school and her whole family wanted to go on a weekend trip to cancun. They packed their bags and hopped on a plane to cancun. Everyone goes to Cancun, so Cordelia said that she was fine with going. When Cordelia and all of her family arrived, the house that they rented treated them like gold with drinks, cold towels, snacks and more. They all were surprised but excited that they were on the beach. Corde and her cousin Emilia screamed of happiness that they got their own separate rooms and jumped on the fluffy, cold bed. Corde felt relieved and so happy that she started to unpack immediately, even though it was 2:30. Corde knew it was time to eat but she still unpacked. She took only 10 minutes to unpack everythings and organize it so she could be in time to eat. She got in time and ate her favorite meal, salmon with rice and chipotle sauce. She and her Emilia loved that meal and ate it in the blink of an eye. You could tell Corde was so happy just looking at her face. “Where's the desert?” Corde questioned her mom. Not one second later the waiter set a slice of lemon pie on her plate and said “here it is, your favorite”. Corde had already stayed there for more than 5 years, because she is so talkative, she knows the chef, waiter, pool cleaner etc. Corde licked her lips and ate into the pie like it was her last meal. Later she and her Emilia went to their rooms to shower and met each other ½ an hour later in Corde's room. They pulled chips, candy and popcorn out of a drawer and turned on the vampire diaries on netflix. They LOVE that show and have watched it together a million times. They laughed and gasped while watching until they looked at the clock and it was 2:24 am. They looked at each other and Emilia rushed to her room so they could wake up early to go to the gym at 8:10 am. Corde turned off her room lights and went to sleep. Later that night, she heard a noise in her room, a sort of growl. She was trembling until she turned on her lights and it was apollo. The house's pet golden retriever. She smiled and told him to hop on her bed. Apollo hopped in her bed and they both went to sleep. In the morning, Cordes alarm woke her up and her door was already opened and Apollo was gone. She laughed and went to change into her gym clothes and met Emilia beside the pool. They both looked at each other and their apple watches and started running through the whole town/hotel park. About 1 hour later, they both looked at their watches to see that they ran 2 ½ miles. They both went to shower and then got ready to go to the beach. Corde went running to her room so she could shower and see her tan lines running. When Corde arrived at her bathroom, she didn't see much of a difference on her skin but was only a little bit more tan.
She sighed but then took a shower. Later When she finished showering she put on a swimsuit and packed her bag that had sunscreen, tanning oil, film camera, water bottle, sunglasses, chapstick and more useful things for the beach. All of her family reunited in the sala and went to the van to go to the yacht they had planned. When they were driving there, Cordes favorite song played and she smiled and looked outside as if she was in a movie. Later, When they arrived at the yacht, they offered Corde a strawberry drink and she accepted it with pleasure. Corde, applied her sunscreen and then her tanning oil, she started tanning and fell asleep for 30 min. Later, her cousin woke her up and splashed water in her face, “I'm going to literally kill you” Corde said, Corde stood up annoyed and pushed emilia from the yacht, as a joke. Corde jumped in and they exchanged laughs. When they got tired of swimming and laughing they went to relax in the yacht. Cordes' skin felt like burning so she went to the shadows instead of the sun. About two hours later, when all of Cordes' family enjoyed the yacht, they went to the beach. Corde has a strong passion for the ocean, she feels free and light whenever she's in it. So, Corde was having the time of her life with her family, Cousin, and more. Corde, at first when she got to the beach, listened to music and relaxed while eating her snack that she made in her room, cucumber, apple, and carrots. “How are you passing the day honey?” asked Cordes' mom. Corde was annoyed because someone was speaking to her when she had earphones in, corde hates that. She took her left earphone out and responded to her mom “good” and then put her earphone in again. Cordes' mom replied “excellent, it's a good day to be at the beach no?”. Corde was going desperate and said to her mom in a tone “yes mom, it is a good day indeed. I was listening to music and now I am no longer motivated because you keep interrupting me.” Corde took off both her earphones annoyed and replied “If you don't mind, I'm going to go to the ocean”. Corde walked away slowly and cordes mom said to herself. I was just like you when I was younger, said Cordes' mom to herself and laughed. Corde was spending the time of her life on the ocean, she forgot about all of her problems including the argument with her mom. All she thought about in that moment was how she was relaxing while the waves hit each other and made a splashing sound. Corde could hear childrens laughs and beers hitting each other. She smiled to herself but did not know what was going to happen in the next moment of her life. About 10 minutes later, Corde decided to get out of the water and head back to her room to shower and eat dinner. Last corde checked, it was about 6pm, the sun was starting to set and Corde didn't realize the time. When she got out, her jaw dropped and she started getting nervous. She looked left and right but no sign of her family's tent. Cordes' legs started shaking and she was feeling really tense. Corde started to walk left straight forward but then was convinced that the tent must have been to the right. She was going in zig-zags basically, she got a very bad feeling in her gut of being alone and nervous. The ocean now scared her instead of bringing her hope and light. Corde just started running until she bumped into someone. Corde said “Sorry” and looked up to see it was her cousin emilia. “Cordelia where have you been, we were worried sick about you. You were gone for more than 40 minutes!” Corde was very startled that she could not say anything. She was traumatized because nothing like that had happened to her in her life. She had never felt abandoned and alone. She was spirit and fun. Corde and Emilia walked to the tent when Corde went running to hug her mom. She felt safe in her arms and Emilia was very proud that she proved to her parents that she did something important. The whole family was very happy to see Corde in safety aagain.
