light at the end of every tunnel
Born 2001, M, from Grahamstown, South AfricaThere is a light at the end of every tunnel
He has been treated quite badly, he feels alone, and he feels like he is going to search for people with the same issue as him;- which is being unattractive. He never in his entire life had anyone telling him he looked good. He got so much criticism. I'm going to tell you the story of a guy whom people rejected because he did not fit into the beauty standards of his society.
Let me start by telling you how he started getting called ugly, so he had huge trouble having friends, and as he was younger, everyone always avoided him and found ways to get rid of him. He didn't care back then. He was around 13 when he got his first serious friends, and they were like 16 to 18 good-looking alpha males. They were the first ones to start calling him ugly and dumb, as things went on, and at the age of 16, he ended up in high school. During that time, he never liked caring about girls because his confidence was low. During his pre-school time, there were games that other children played during a break, some chased others around the schoolyard, and they were pretending the girls were trying to kiss the boys. During that game, all boys in his class were chased. No one chased him, so he was just standing there and guessing that there was something wrong with him. He was the only one at that time that was like, "oh, I sort of wish a girl would chase me," but that didn't happen. When he was 17, he started liking to girls and being interested in girls and God this was so difficult when he was 18. He realized that he wanted to have love in his life.Unfortunately, he didn't find one. He got rejected and the number of people that left him was unexplainable. The total sum from when he was 15 to 18 was well over four or 500 girls that he tried to get into a relationship with. Everyone called him ugly, and some of them were straight-up honest with him. They said that "you're not my type." After two years, he gave up on his life because he felt unattractive.
He ended up feeling depressed, there were times he wanted to end his life, but there was something in his mind telling him that "You're alive for a reason, so don't ever give up." As they argue," Good things come to those who wait, -". At the age of 30 it's when he first met the first girl in his life that wanted to be with him. The girl was lovely, but not in the way that girls in magazines are. She was stunning because of the glimmer in her face when she spoke about something she was genuinely enthusiastic about. She was desirable because she had the capacity to make everyone else smile even whilst she was upset. No, she was just not lovely for the sake of her appearance. She was stunning from the inside out. She was like an angel sent by God to change this man's life. This man was broken, choking, lost, bleeding, stopped believing. He could have died, but the girl came just in time to save him. They both formed a strong bond that science can't separate. They were like rain and wind. In other words, they create a hurricane. The man finally feels the spark and sees the light because he was part of something bigger. Love has won his fight, and love has won his life. To those who feel like they are not good-looking, just remember, "If you think you are ugly, -you are wrong everybody is different in their unique way." You can't be beautiful to everyone, but everyone can be beautiful. Just remember that there is someone there waiting to explore you and looking for someone like you.

05/13/2022Loved this story. Many people face this every day. They never think they are pretty enough or handsome enough. And many are teased relentlessly every day. I'm glad he found happiness in the end.
