Chapter 1
The black sisters
It was a cold, crisp night, just right for having a mass breakout from Azkaban. It was planned most carefully, to every detail. Under the shadow of the oak tree, a woman stode in black, barely lifting her hood. The lake near them made a soft gushing noise but the woman made no sign of movement but stood stone still. The huge oak tree was planted hundreds of years ago but was standing with pride, though the branches were clinging on for dear life. Suddenly, with a faint pop a slim silhouette appeared several feet near the first woman. The woman made no notice of the sudden new-comer but continued to stare forward. The second woman made several elegant steps and stood near, in the same dull position. Several minutes ticked in silence until the first lady spoke.
“She is late.” She said, an icy voice of hers declared. The second woman nodded in agreement and was about to speak until a pop came again and the third woman stumbled out behind the oak tree and faced the two women.
“My apologies, I was capturing a filthy mudblood in the prison that we are yet to make. She is in my house now, no way to escape.” The third woman said, full of satisfaction.
“No matter,” Came the first voice.
“Are we not waiting for some others?” Asked the third woman, lifting her hood and revealing the dirtiest curls and yellow teeth. The two other women shook their heads and all disappeared at the same time. Time for action.
The tallest of the three, the first woman apperated straight behind some bushes, a bit behind the Dementors from Azkaban. Positioning herself to get a clear view of Azkaban she looked at it with utter disgust. So this is where my mother and relatives sat, she thought angrily. Meanwhile, the second woman apparated from the other side, where more Dementors were placed. She walked slowly, reaching out her withered hand…
“My friends,”She said gazing under the Dementor's hood. The closest were suspicious but got over it, and started to speak to her, in a strange, strangled language that she understood.
“My friends,” She repeated, “I have work to do in this filthy place. I am destroying it. Keep away from it, and we shall give you more happiness with toture. I am breaking it. You will not alarm the security or anyone else for the matter. Two women are involved, do not attack.” One of the Dementors bowed and the rest echoed and a few squeals of triumph echoed in the misty air. With that, she disappeared. And the third woman, gazed at the prison, her eyes narrowing with dislike. Soon, a patronus soared near her, and vanished in a puff of smoke. Cackling madly, she stepped towards the stone steps, where Dementors let her pass. And, putting a Dissolution Charm, she was the same as the wall.
The doors creaked and cried in protest, as if they knew that intruders were about. But Lilith Batesrat stayed hidden by a protective spell. Batesrat walked silently through the door, almost walking straight into the fiery guards of Azkaban. He black shoes made the soft clicking noise as she creeped up behind the innocent, half-asleep guard. Pulling her wand out, she made the single candle flicker, gradually making it thinner…it had gone out. The whole room was full of the black color of death.
Chapter 2
The ashes
The guard jumped slightly, getting himself armed forcefully and saying in a bold voice:
“Who is here! Show yourself! The Dementors are about, the kiss is waiting!” Batesrat rolled her eyes and silently cast a spell to reveal herself. Leaning on the shoulder of the guard, she talked to him, making a shiver run down his spine.
“It is - for you. Now, be a good lad and come quietly.” She said, sounding almost bored.
“What? Who are - aaaaaahhhh!!!” The guard lapsed into an awful screeching sound as he caught sight of Batesrat. It was rightly that he perhaps had screamed, for she was a truly awful sight. Her eyes glistening with anger, her mane of dirty curls loose and a set of uneven, pus colored teeth - no wonder the guard felt back almost. He was facing one of the most powerful, dark witch in the century, the most wanted - and her sisters - in the whole of Britain! For a split-second he thought of actually saying no but made it clear that he was mad. Then, mustering up the courage, he pointed his wand at her.
“Crucio!” His voice boomed through the darkness. Batesrat got hit with the curse, squarely in her chest, but the spell was weak and didn’t even make her flinch. Cackling madly, she said in her cold voice
“You chose this way. Now, we duel.” For a fraction of a second, their eyes locked together and at the same time they shouted
“Expelliarmus!” The guard cried,
“Patrific Totolas!” Screamed Batesrat - and she did it. The one spell was so powerful, it blasted out of her wand and made the guard fall backwards on the floor, leaving Batesrat smirking. Heaving him up roughly, she cast a patronus through the air and the next moment, the tallest woman, the leader of the gang came forward. Cissa Mentorn was another wanted sister. She and Lilith were sisters and Cissa was the broad shouldered woman, the tallest and eldest of the three. And the last sibling came, followed by the flock of Dementors named Enya Salizia. Enya was the serious one and always right on schedule. One of her rare gifts was to speak with Dementors, who she craved.
By the flick of Cissa’s wand, the whole of Azkaban was full of light. The guard was already transported safely so he could not escape, the Azkaban was in the sisters hands tonight. The prisoners gaped at the sight of the three, powerful women, that they all shouted and cried with delight:
“They have done it!”
“The mighty ones are here to save us, hurray!!”
“Slazers Snakes! The sisters are here!”
“The Sisters of the Black!”
Squeals echoed through the deserted manor but Cissa put her hand up and got the silence respectfully.
“We have indeed come to save you. You will be loyal and thankful for us, and you shall join us - and serve us proudly. This is your chance to be a warrior, a brave one like us. Do you join?” Cissa said, her voice was cold and icy, as if she swallowed a cold ice-cube. Cheers of agreement filled Azkaban at those words, thunderous clapping and desperate nods made the webs shake and the stones rattle.
“You will obey your first command then.” Said Cissa, raising her voice slightly. Everyone was nodding in agreement and stood stock still. A flick of her wand and a level of iron doors burst open, letting the prisoners free. Enya and Lilith copied and soon the whole of Azkaban was on the first floor, eager to hear their leader, the wonderful woman.
“Enya has kindly got us many copies of the brooms, all found at the back. You will perform a Dissolution charm on you - we do not want to be seen as we fly through the heavens. Lilith is leading at the front, she will direct us to The Mentorn Manor, it has exactly 57 rooms for you to live in, and a huge hall for our meetings. Unplottable.” Rang her brisk voice.
“I will be at the back and Enya will be floating around us. Now!” Cissa commanded. Everyone grabbed the nearest broom and made themselves invisible. Slowly, they creaked behind the doors with Dementors circling them like hawks, but more dangerous and violent. They flew.
Cissa waited until they were tiny specks, and stepped out of the crooked house. A simple spell, a simple wave and the whole of Azkaban had gone away. She disappeared into the darkness leaving the misty air and the several ashes, all ripped and torn, desperate to be saved, but no one could hear their silent cry. The forest was a midnight black…illuminated by the lunar moon-light and sending a sense of creepiness across the clear field.

But the rest was covered by a large Deville Snare plant beside the desk of Cissa. Her eyebrows were knitted together with thought, thinking maliciously of another cruel plan to come up with. They have used “cruel” huh? She thought to herself. Well, I can be “Cruel” true. She felt herself laughing silently. It was true, she led all the prisoners that were now getting ready for the first meeting, hmm, she thought as she absent mindedly went to the door. Cissa made her way downstairs, where Enya lit several candles, all melting with age. She was wearing her usual slim and elegant black dress, her hands covered with net gloves. Many boxes were stacked in the corner, full of copies of black outfits that were ready for the new-comers. They were empty, true, for they all wanted to impress the three by wearing them for the first meeting. A slender, long table stretched across the room with many wooden chairs tucked in. At the top of the table, however, stood a handsome chair with two fine ones by its side - for the three sisters.
As 10 o’clock struck, the door burst open and many witches and wizards filled out, taking up spaces. Cissa waited in silence until the last witch was sitting.
“I will have the first plan first. You will be branded with the Dark Mark.” She paused, looking at each of them in turn.
“First up!! One to me, Enya and Lilith!” She screeched. The whole room was still, no one even dared to draw their breath. Cissa raised one of her well-marked eyebrows. To that, a witch stood up and walked straight to Lilith. The witch stood in front of her, her head up high. Cissa nodded to her and gave her a rare smile. As soon as that happened, many tried to get up faster but a pale young wizard with hair the color of soot reached Cissa first. Then, an elegant woman with her hair a dirty blond strided straight to Enya. Enya greeted her with a look that made the person think that she could see what they were thinking and the witch almost stepped back in fright. But no, she did not, her instincts made her continue standing.
Lilith gave the brave woman that came up to her, Priscilla Alornest, the dark mark. Her flesh burned in her skin, turning slowly into a black figure of a snake..curling around a black heart..the ripped one.
“ Thank you, Oh great Lilith. I shall be your most loyal servant ever, I shall never betray you and will always be on your side.” Priscilla said, her voice flattering and hopeful. She saw a glint of satisfaction in Lilith’s eyes and marched back to her seat, looking very proud. Meanwhile, the man stood in front of Cissa and waited expectantly. His name was Lennox Curt. She pointed her wand at his left hand and performed a complex spell on his hand. As the snake came alive and wriggled as she moved her wand, she looked straight into Lennox’s eyes and searched hungirly for signs of pain, or perhaps, regret. But none came. He arched his back proudly, gave her a bow and also returned to his seat. Odette Lakebird was facing Enya and received the satisfaction of having the Dark Mark.
As soon as a man named Sullivan Duke received the mark, Cissa silenced the room and made a small cough.
“Ahem, I will need several volunteers to come with me. Some might go with Enya, and others with Lilith.” Cissa said, her voice drowning with voices and a forest of hands. Shaking her head, she got silent as everyone stared at her with bated breath.
“Cordelia Mension, Priscilla Alornest, Danvir Yaxley and Casimir Fudge, come with me. Enya, LIlith, choose your companions.” said Cissa, making the four she said beam with pride but the rest didn’t dare express their sadness.
“Odette Lakebird, Lennox Curt, Kiley Grim and Evangeline Turner! I want to get business down with you! Meet me in front of the manor in 5 minutes.” Rang Enya’s voice through the eerie darkness.
“Let’s see, let’s see, hmm, experienced with the cruciatus curse…” muttered Lilith, talking to herself and making a shiver run around the room. She finally said:
“ Irina Hatem, Mariposa Sullensee, Astra May, Blox Curtrow and Calico Evergreen. You five, I want you near the dungeons. Now.” And like that, the woman and men made their way with their captains all nearly dying with happiness. To be serving one of the sisters, what an honor! They all thought.
Chapter 4
The tasks
This chapter begins with the first group, told to be waiting by the dungeons. A faint murmur came from the group, they all stood tense and eager to please the sisters. Irina and Astra were swapping looks that ment “good luck” while Mariposa, Blox and Calico were all talking in low voices and deep frowns, all a bit nervous to be honest. Suddenly, a steady rhythm of brisk footsteps filled the dungeons. Everyone’s breath sharpened and as one, they pointed their wands at the new-comer. However, a voice behind Irina muttered:
“Very good, very good. That was test number one. Now, my Death Eaters, we all will catch a mudblood tonight. Yes, yes, we shall. So, I’ll show you how it’s done.” It was Lilith. Her dark curls were carelessly put into a messy bun and leaving a lot out, making it look as if she hadn’t washed for days, Irina had to remind herself that that was possible. No one jumped, they all looked as if they were expecting that (none of them were).
Lilith marched into another chamber, the five followed her. There stood the guard from Azkaban and another weak muggle that had a wand in his hand.
“Oh no you don’t Mister. I’m giving my friends a short demonstration, who cares to be first?” She said, pronouncing every syllable in the last word. The muggle stepped forward pointing his wand.
“I admire bravery, yes, you wouldn’t make a bad Death Eater, my fellow. Yet…you don’t have the blood do you? Come on, shall we see how filthy your blood actually is?” Lilith said, smirking as the group cackled, clearly enjoying the fun. Soon, the muggle pointed his wand at her and she withdrew hers but was faster and said in her clear voice:
“Crucio!”. The wand was blasted out of his hand and his screams of pain echoed through the tunnel. Screams for mercy, help and stopping but he got none. Lilith’s eyes widened with enjoyment as he experienced the pain. His eyes were rolling madly, his head felt like fire and his bones rattled inside like snakes…longing to get out…it was pain byond anything that the muggle ever felt. But then it stopped. She looked at the pitiful sight with no hint of regret on her dirty face. She gave him a look and addressed them both.
“We will need to kill you, both. I’m afraid we can’t let you live, you will shout all our secrets about, my dear fellow. I will leave Cissa or Enya to finish you - I’m giving you some time to say goodbye to your memories.” With that, she turned on her heel and went out, her group followed as they frew disgusted looks in their direction.
Meanwhile, Cissa, Priscilla, Danvir, Casimir and Cordelia were in the mountains. Their story is short, all they did was build a huge crooked house, a prison by their skilled hands and brain. Priscilla did a job of making a very good path to it, which made Cissa address her a few kind words to which she flushed bright red. Danvir and Cordelia were planting many trees about so it would be near a forest while Casimir got to do the honor of printing in bold, capital letters:
BLACK PRISON
After admiring their work, they settled off to get some dinner.
And lastly, Enya’s group were visiting certain members and people. They came to Rirfen Greyback’s house and extended an invitation for him to join them and received a very enthusiastic response.
“Why thank you. Honor to be asked by such a fine woman. I’ll be there at your manor at 6 o’clock tomorrow. Will do!” Rirfen grunted, clearly pleased to be asked. After waving a cheerful goodbye, they set off again. This time, Odette got to ask Darius Dolohav and he also was very proud to be asked. He also was to meet them at 6 o’clock.
Chapter 5
Death Eaters meeting
Six Am dawned. The forest was dark, still leaving traces of the misty air from the night. Only three witches wandered around in those poisonous parts…the black sisters as everyone called them. Their names and faces flew around the newspapers daily, so it was usual to see one of their names printed in capitals. The fire was lit, raging around in the still air as it was the darkest, murkiest spot in the whole forest.
The witches all stood in random positions. Cissa Mentorn was standing in front of the fire and gazing into the depths of the angry fire. Enya Saliza was positioned at her right hand side while Lilith Batesrat was standing, bored and seemed to be getting impatient. However, a faint pop came and a black hooded figure strode into the room-seized space. Lifting its hood, it revealed itself to be a female. She stood near the fire, gave them all a bow and said, in barely a whisper:
“Odette Lakebird. Pleasure to serve you, My ladies.” Cissa nodded, staring transfixed at the spot Odette came from and seemed to be expecting more. However, she didn’t have long to wait. The air was full of swishing cloaks and bows, muttering things that no one could hear. Odette and Priscilla were beside Enya and Lilith, starting a circle that was soon filled with many more. Rirfen Greyback stood near them, a handsome werewolf, to be honest. Lennox found his way here and was staring straight into the eyes of Enya. Beside him, Darius and Sullivan were standing, their hoods barely lifted. Mariposa, Blox and Calico were in their usual huddle, straightening up and looking in admiration at the sisters. Irina was also present, completing the circle. Also, there was Danvir, Cordelia and Casimir who stood a bit behind and lacked confidence to be in presence with such powerful people. Astra, Kiley and Evangeline were also grim faced and part of the circle in the eerie darkness. As all of them were quiet, Cissa spoke in a clear voice.
“Welcome, Death Eaters. I am glad to see you again. Enya and Lilith told me of your work, we are proud. Yet, you did not get a lot of practise with torture, did you? This is what I am suggesting. Certain members will all get jobs, for example..” Cissa paused looking everyone in the eye for a moment.
“Sullivan, Evangeline, Mariposa, Astra, Cordelia, Darius and Kiley, you will guard the Black Prison. Your job is to torture them and make it nasty…they should not be happy in your presence. I will personally check in to make sure. Evangeline and Mariposa, I want you to guard the front door. Kiley, Astra and Darius, take the rest of the sides. Sullivan and Cordelia, I wish you to monitor inside. Anyone messing around or interfering in the prison - I give you permisson to put them there and torture them. Very well, I think I make myself clear.” Cissa said, again raising one of her elegant eyebrows. Everyone mentioned nodded. Then Enya spoke up.
“We have another problem. We also need some people who will aid me and make up our plans. We will envoy a few giants for spookiness…and find out the Order Of the Phoenix members and supporters of them. We need to have a few people. Cissa,” She said, indicating her head towards Cissa,
“So, I have chosen a few. Priscilla, Odette and Lennox will assist me in gathering “good” people. Irina, Blox, Calico and Casimir will go to envoy the giants and send Dementors to other places with Lilith. It is not only Britain, but we need to terrorize many other countries. France, for instance.” Enya finished, as a storm of approval drowned her voice.
“Let us chant our song, then…” Lilith said, her voice stuttering with excitement. All the villains nodded and began to chant, dancing around the fire.
“ One little swish, of our wand,
Turn Azkaban to sand,
Us, pure-bloods are the best,
We brew our potions with zest.
Striking death,
And longing for torture,
Those lads better look out,
We will make them more than pout!
Avada Kedavra,
The cruciatus curse,
We learned those in our youth,
And now, well - poof!
We strike our wand,
Proud and ambitious,
From the ancient pure-blood line,
Now the power’s mine.” They all chant and sing the evil lyrics, definitely not hearing the cries and pleas for help echoing from the ancient graveyard, those who died as victims and screams of mercy…but got none.
Chapter 6
Prisoners and secrets
The Black prison was a source of great fascination to the wizards and witches. One excited Daily Prophet reporter came down to take a few photos - But got Kiley to lead to one of the cells, much to Cordelia and Sullivan’s happiness. There stood the many cells, squished together like cattle stalls and holding those desperate prisoners inside. There was Roald Mesmory, the innocent muggle-born guard of Azkaban. Beside him, was the random muggle-born whose name was Jenkin Jorrison and he suffered his share. Meanwhile, The Daily Prophet reporter (Peggy Snowlight) also got her share of pain. They were gradually filled up, much to everyone's satisfaction.
Cordelia and Sullivan were just about to lead some Dementors in for their daily scare, when they hear Mariposa hiss
“Cissa Mentorn. Straighten your hat, Sullivan and Cordelia, please do put that saintly expression off. Oooh! Here she comes!” Mariposa turned around and faced straight - eager to impress the dark witch. Cissa was marching forward, looking fierce and usually calm. She was beautiful, but terrifying. She came to a halt when she saw Mariposa and Evangeline in front of the house. She was happy, for some reason and walked straight to Mariposa and whispered a few words to her. Mariposa gave a small nod and hurried inside the castle. Cissa’s happy day-dream got interrupted as a group of women approached. One was the leader of the gang and the most recognisable. She was leading a woman who was thrashing around but Enya Saliza stunned her and cast a spell for her to float. Then, behind her, Priscilla was holding a person who was also stunned. It was a man. His hair was blonde and he had large brown eyes that made him look soft and caring. Then, Odette was roughly levitating a man with glasses and he was bold. And lastly, trudging behind them, Lennox was lazily levitating a woman with fresh black curls and round, blue eyes. The group made their way towards the prison where Cissa was grinning insanely. Cissa and Kiley helped move the people into separate cells and removed their wands which they locked into a chest hidden very cleverly by Enya. Cordelia and Sullivan also joined them so they, Cissa, Kiley and Mariposa were surrounding Cissa. Cissa waved a lazy flick of her wand and the man with blonde hair came to life. He looked terrified.
“Cissa….Mentorn…Mistress, what…I…can…give…you…information…release…beg..”He managed to stutter, his words seemed to be torn apart. The room stiffened at his words. The man nodded and continued to shake.
“Hmm, lad, we could use a bit more secrets…what is your “information” about?” Cissa asked after receiving an approving look from Enya. The man gasped as if he had said something terrible, and said as his voice wobbled madly.
“The Order..I know…a lot..” He said in the same manner. Cissa laughed audibly.
“Perhaps…now spill the beans. What were you saying, secrets, you know?” Cissa said, her eyes gleaming with curiosity. Her pale hands clutched the wand tightly - aiming it at the terrifying lump. He nodded, took a deep breath…and began.
