Divine Direction(Cam Rascoe) Men, remedial in their emotional development, often need time and space to learn to love well. Not much good are most of us at romance when we are young, hormones raging, we are in it just for the fun. Lust leads us, always thinking with the wrong head, indulging in carnal desires. Promiscuity often leads to the contraction of venereal diseases, some of which can be deadly. Products to protect against the spread of germs and viruses are utilized sparingly because the desire of the flesh directs our thinking. Impulsive in nature, relishing the risk, quantity not quality of lovemaking is valued. Variety of babes bedded offers the silly boy a boost in esteem, he feels accomplished yet he is foolish. Many a potential quality life partner was pushed away because he is more interested in exploring their bodies than their hearts, minds and souls. Children are sometimes conceived during this ritual of debauchery, thrusting the boy into adulthood. Despite dealing with a growing responsibility, he continues his irresponsible juvenile behavior in matters of the heart. Faithful to no one, only his need for fornication, the adult boy is far from husband material. Other boys are done in by their debauchery, succumbing to a deadly disease, destined to dimwitted demise.

Some boys graduate from their parents' home and attend institutions of higher learning. These boys are a little more focused but just as dumb in love. He may not be consumed with sex, yet he still possesses similar carnal desires. The watchful eyes of doting Mom and Dad no longer set their gaze upon him. Now, he can freely act on those strong feelings that he has had since middle school. He meets a girl, a lovely girl, she could be the one. After a year of blissful fun, their romance was all but done. Boy realized slowly that when you've got a girl, you can get a girl so why settle for just one? Girls often want what they can't have, someone else has or see more value in something simply because someone else values it. The it is often a boy, and these girls are not yet women, so romantically wise they are not. They have yet to understand that just because she has him doesn't make him all that hot. It is just her immaturity of love and childish behavior of simply wanting something that someone else has got.

College boy Randy and co-ed Suez shared one such short lived love during their sophomore season. He ruined it, the girls around campus had his nose open and he felt full of himself. As each of their lives moved in different directions they fell out of touch. Unsuccessful marriages were entered into and dissolved by each of them as they grew from young adults to mature people wielding wisdom at a whim. Life's experiences had molded and shaped them both as they grew in their faith and service to their communities.
A wonderful invention was created and then popularized where you could communicate with or find almost anyone from your past. After a long thirty years, Randy reached out and tried to contact Suez on social media. Never had Randy logged on to a social media website and with one key stroke, his mission was accomplished. There she was, the lovely Suez he knew and yearned for all those years. She had aged, just as he had but she was just as beautiful. To his great delight, it was as if she had been waiting on him all those years. Randy never used social media again, there was no need, mission accomplished. In short order they were together as a couple, so deeply in love. Neither of them regretted a thing, God don't make no mistakes. Their time apart gave them both time and space to grow. Randy would have ruined this love in his youth, now he cherished it with all his being. Randy thanked God daily for the delivering of his love, Suez to him once again. It was as if he was given divine direction, leading him away from and back to the woman he would love into eternity. Sometimes in life it is better when we don't receive our Blessings too young. Life's experiences and disappointments help us to appreciate our Blessings much more when we mature. Divine Direction.
