I'm Eileen Monsere, I'm 16 and live with my parents. The only problem is that they are very abusive but I don't know how to get away from them. They are constantly beating me and yelling at me for nothing. They never let me leave the house except to go to school. I'm also not allowed to have friends over. But I don't have friends anyway because I never talk to anyone at school or they just don't want anything to do with me. So yeah I'm the lonely girl who gets abused by her parents. All I want is just one person who I can talk to but everyone at school hates me.

Today I accidentally ran into a boy named Adam. He seemed really nice. He let me come sit by him at lunch and we talked for a while. I learned that he was new here at our school and that he moved here after he got beat up really badly at his last school. He noticed a bruise on my cheek and asked if everything was ok and I told him yeah why wouldn't it be. I can't actually tell anyone that my parents are abusive even though I want to get away from it so badly.

It's been a couple of days now and I and Adam have started to hang out more but he's starting to ask more questions about things like why I don't have friends and why I keep telling him he can't come over when he asks to hang out. I think my friendship with Adam is going to become a problem. Like I mean don't get me wrong I love being friends with Adam but he just cares too much, which is great but I can't risk my parents getting caught.

I've decided to ask my parents if I can bring Adam over and of course, they said no. Their reason was that they don't want no boy coming over but I know it's because they don't want to get caught. I would tell them they are going to get caught by Adam if they don't let me bring him over but then they would make me stop hanging out with him. I decided that I'm just going to bring him home with me one day after school.

Today I brought Adam home with me after school and obviously, my parents weren't happy. They acted as if we were a normal family when he was over but then afterward they beat me. They were hitting me and smacking me and yelling at me for over an hour. I have so many new bruises, especially on my face. I don't think I can go to school for the next few days but I have to because my parents don't ever let me skip.

I went to school today and Adam noticed all the new bruises on my arms and face. He asked me where they all came from and I had no clue what to say, so I just said that I tripped and fell when I was on a walk last night. He obviously didn't believe me but what else was I supposed to say? The truth, that my parents beat me. I don't know what he thinks actually happened but I think I need to be more cautious around him.

I decided to tell my parents that I wasn't feeling well and that I needed to stay home from school. They told me that I was going to school and to suck it up. I got home from school and learned that report cards came out and I was in a relationships class that was required and I failed so, of course, that meant more hitting, smacking, and yelling except this time it lasted for way more than an hour. I think it was more like 3 or 4 hours.

The next day I had way more bruises and Adam noticed them right away again. He told me he knew that something was happening at home and he was going to report it since I won't. I tried to convince him not to but I couldn't. Adam reported it and now my family is going to have a random at-home visit and all the bruises I currently have were written down on file and they will add more when I get them. My parents are definitely going to get caught.

The random at-home visit happened today and my parents were beating me when the doorbell rang. So my parents did what they always do. My mom went and answered the door and had to get rid of whoever was there while my dad kept hitting me. The social worker obviously didn't leave and then she walked into the living room right where my dad was beating me. She literally saw so much before my dad noticed she was there.

Obviously, they tried to gaslight her that this was the first time they did this. They also tried convincing her that I deserved it. What ended up happening is that I and her went to my room and grabbed some of my things and then I had to go with her. She took me to a foster care place and is going to try to get a court date set for my parent's custody to be permanently removed. Apparently, my parents also could be sent to prison for child abuse.

Today I have to go to court against my parents. I hate the fact that I have to do this. Adam is coming to support me but to be honest, me and Adam haven't really talked since he reported my parents. I don't really know if it's a good idea for Adam to come, I don't really have anything that I want to say to him.
