Role of Youth in Combating Corruption

No rules, no procedure, no altruism and no care for others. Fighting to win at life, trying to lead the ceaseless race. The ravenous appetite, the accrescent desire makes to trip someone up, oppress someone while leading the race by some strides. A very big cheating in this race is corruption. Because it makes it easy to lead the race without running hard. Abuse of power, dishonesty, duplicity or deceit for money. Paying a bribe to release yourself from prison, to pass any file, to get an undeserved position. "Paying every time you fall on the ground rather than standing up yourself is corruption for me". Corruption acts as a seed for every evil. The fact is that its seeds are sprouting everywhere.

Now it is our responsibility to refuse, accept and pay a bribe. To stand up yourself rather than paying a bribe. The youth of any nation are its potential energy. youth should raise voice against corruption. Youth should actively participate in advocating anti-corruption policies, influencing others to come forward and monitoring government actions. Youth can use public places to communicate an anti-corruption message and organize competitions for cartoons, poems, essays and drama that communicate an anti-corruption message.I f the youths of any country follow the path of honesty and integrity, no country can remain corrupt for long. Young people should lead in spreading awareness. Many a times corruption happens because people are ignorant of rules and hence get cheated. It is anyway tough to fool an aware person. Social media and internet can be used for this. Just like a small lamp can remove the darkness of the entire room, a single honest person can remove huge corruption from the rotten system and the nation.
