Roblox - A Horror Story
Born 2009, M, from Kerala, IndiaAlia had always been a fan of horror games. She loved the thrill of the unknown and the rush of adrenaline that came with each jump scare. So, when she stumbled upon a new Roblox game called "Haunted House," she couldn't resist giving it a try. As she logged in, she found herself in a dark and eerie mansion, with only a flashlight to guide her way. The walls were covered in cobwebs, and the air was thick with the smell of decay. She felt a sense of excitement and fear at the same time.
As she continued to play, she started to notice strange things happening within the game. The objects in the rooms were moving on their own, and the sounds were becoming more and more ominous. She tried to brush it off, thinking it was just part of the game, but then she encountered a ghostly figure, and that's when things took a turn for the worse. The figure started following her, whispering in her ear and making her skin crawl. She tried to run, but the figure was always one step ahead of her. She was starting to panic. She had never experienced anything like this before, and she didn't know how to make it stop. Just when she thought she was going to be trapped in the game forever, she stumbled upon a hidden room.
Inside the room, she found a diary, and as she started to read it, she realized the truth. The game wasn't just a game - it was a portal to the afterlife. The ghostly figure had been a real person, trapped in the game and looking for a way out. She knew she had to help the ghost find a way back to the real world. She solved the final puzzle, and suddenly the game glitches, and she found herself back in her room. She breathed a sigh of relief, grateful to be back in the real world. But as she looked back at her computer screen, she realized that the game had one final twist. The ghostly figure was now standing in her room, staring right at her.
She froze in terror as the ghostly figure continued to stare at her from the computer screen. Suddenly, that figure started to move, slowly stepping out of the screen and into her room. Her heart raced as she realized the ghostly figure was now standing right in front of her. Its eyes were hollow, and its skin was pale and decayed. She tried to scream, but no sound escaped her throat. The ghostly figure raised its hand, and she felt a cold breeze wash over her. She knew she was no longer safe. She had brought the ghost into her world, and now she had to find a way to send it back.
She started to back away, but the ghostly figure followed her every move. She tried to reach for her phone, but it was just out of reach. Suddenly, the room went dark, and she was plunged into complete darkness. She could hear the ghostly figure moving around her, its breathing getting louder and more erratic. She felt like she was suffocating, trapped in the darkness with the ghostly presence. Just when she thought she couldn't take it anymore, the lights flickered back on, and the ghostly figure vanished. She was alone in her room, shaken and terrified. She quickly closed the game and shut down her computer, vowing never to play "Haunted House" again. But she couldn't shake the feeling that something was still watching her, waiting to come back into her world.
In the days that followed, she couldn’t shake the feeling that she was being watched. Every time she closed her eyes, she could see the ghostly figure staring back at her. She tried to convince herself that it was just her imagination, but she knew deep down that it wasn’t. As time went on, her fear began to consume her. She stopped going out, stopped talking to her friends, and stopped playing any kind of game. She was constantly on edge, always looking over her shoulder, and always waiting for the ghostly figure to come back.
Despite her efforts to move on, she couldn’t escape the feeling that the ghost was still with her. One day, as she sat alone in her room, she heard a faint whisper in her ear. It was the same voice that had haunted her in the game - the ghostly figure had returned. She tried to run, but the ghost was too fast. It cornered her in her room, and she knew that she was about to meet her end. The ghostly figure raised its hand, and she braced herself for the worst.
But then, something strange happened. As the ghostly figure approached her, it began to transform. Its skin became less pale, and its eyes filled with life. She watched in awe as the ghostly figure transformed into a young woman, not much older than herself.
That woman introduced herself as Anne and explained that she had been trapped in the game for years, unable to find a way out. She was filled with compassion for Anne, and she vowed to help her find a way back to the afterlife. As she worked with her to find a way to send her back, she realized that her fear had been holding her back all along. She had been so consumed by her own terror that she had failed to see the pain and suffering of the ghostly figure.
She and Anne finally found a way to send Anne back to the afterlife, and she felt a sense of relief wash over her. She had overcome her fear and helped someone in need. But just as she was about to leave her room, she heard a knock on her door. She hesitated for a moment, wondering who it could be, but eventually mustered the courage to answer. As she opened the door, she was greeted by a group of people in black cloaks. They looked like they belonged in a cult, with their solemn expressions and unnerving demeanor.
One of the cult members stepped forward and spoke to her in a low, ominous voice. "You have meddled in things you do not understand," he said. "You have opened a portal that should never have been opened. “She felt a chill run down her spine as she realized the gravity of the situation. The cult members were not there to thank her for sending Emily back - they were there to punish her for meddling with the afterlife. Just as she thought it was all over, Anne stepped forward and stood between her and the cult members. "Leave her alone," Anne said, her voice strong and confident. "She helped me find my way back. She deserves to live."
The cult members hesitated for a moment, but eventually, they backed away and disappeared into the night. She looked at Anne with gratitude and admiration, grateful that she had helped her see the light. As she looked out into the dark night, she couldn't help but wonder what other horrors lay in store for her. But for the first time in a long time, she felt ready to face them head-on, with Anne by her side.
She collapsed onto her bed, exhausted from the ordeal. As she closed her eyes, she felt a sense of peace wash over her. But just as she was about to drift off to sleep, she heard a faint whisper in her ear. It was Anne’s voice, and it was filled with anger and malice. Her heart raced as she realized that she had made a grave mistake. By sending Anne back to the afterlife, she had unknowingly unleashed a powerful evil into the world. She tried to run, but she knew it was too late. Anne had already taken control of her body, and there was no escaping her grasp. Her eyes turned black, and she felt a surge of dark energy flow through her.
As Anne’s laughter echoed through the room, Alia knew that she was now one of the undead. She had become a vessel for Anne’s wrath, and she knew that she would never be free again. The world would never be safe as long as Anne was free to roam it, and she had unwittingly unleashed her onto an unsuspecting world. The horror of her mistake would haunt her for eternity, as she roamed the earth as a cursed soul, forever trapped in the darkness.
