Victory of Vickie Vo
Born 1973, M, from Ocoee, Florida, United StatesVibrantly Vivacious was young Vickie Vo whose eyes shown vivid and bright. She lived life with a vast amount of vigor, ever energized. Soft brown eyes through which you may view her beautiful soul vividly. Vickie Vo lived victory, excelling in all she did. Some of her classmates became vexed, envious of Vickie’s abilities and vision. Mean girls vilified and victimized the extraordinary Vickie Vo in an attempt to make her feel small. But that special girl Vickie Vo always stood tall, up on a plane while the mean girls remained in the valley below. Vickie Vo became a woman of valor continuing her fine Vietnamese family tradition of scholars, generals and diplomats. Those mean girls didn’t fair so very well. Varied vixens they became finding far more trouble and lust than love. Vickie Vo married her college sweetheart, had three wonderful children and was valued and loved by her family. Karma came a coming for those girls for the venom they spewed towards a girl they never knew, all because she looked a little different. Her varied victories brought about their learned hatred and they were verily vicious towards her. They never evolved as people, stuck in the viscous of their old ways, living sad lives. No amount of Vicks can open their nostrils once they close, sick from all the powdery substance inhaled. Benevolence and virtue Vickie still held in her heart some thirty years after grade school when she helped one of the mean girls off the street. Vindicated and celebrated in the eyes of the mean girl now seeing her as same, yet greater. The mean girls were right all along, Vickie Vo was different; she was special! Ever Victorious Vickie Vo.

06/23/2023Cam,
What a delight. A verdant, vivid veresimilitude to the vivacious Vicky Vo. She appears to be "real" because we all know her...or of her. Like Lillian, the alliteration was charming, as were the metaphors especially this one:
"No amount of Vicks can open their nostrils once they close..." That alone deserves a StoryStar Award ...just brilliant writing. Plus as he second youngest in a double digit sibling family, Vicks was my Mom's "go too" cure for everything. Loved the story, loved the message, loved the writing.
You go Vicy Vo!
Smiles, Kevin
