The Stranger In The Rain

It's been raining for three days now. Kyle stares out his living room window one afternoon, he has nothing else to do since school has been canceled because it flooded. But for three whole days it's never ending rain, "Maybe because of that guy"? Kyle thought. On the first rainy night, a guy showed up across the street from Kyle's house. The guy would stand under a street light and stare at Kyle, and he did this every rainy night. The guy was dressed in a dark grey hoodie, along with his hood covering his face so Kyle could never tell who the person was. This night was different, Kyle couldn't sleep that night. On this night was the first night there was any thunder and lightning. It kept Kyle up, so he got up and headed towards his bedroom window and the guy was there like always. But this night the guy took a step forward Kyle's house. The guy walked up to Kyle's lawn, then to his porch step, then he was at his front door. 1...2...3..., three sharp knocks were heard on Kyle's front door. Kyle slowly walked down the stairs to the front door and was hesitating to open it. 1...2...3, three more knocks were heard. Kyle first looked through the eye hole on his door before touching the door handle, no one was there. Kyle was relieved, he turned and started to head back to his room. He was on his way to the stairs when he heard something, something rushing? It was the kitchen faucet on and running. Kyle was a little confused on how the faucet was running water Kyle went over to turn it off, but the lever wouldn't budge and the water was filling up quick in the sink. Soon the water overflowed and started to pour over and flood the floor. The water was already up to his ankles but it wasn't just the kitchen faucet that was running water. Every faucet, bathtub, and shower was on and running so much water that in an instant the flood was up to Kyle's knees. Water was running so much that the balcony for the second floor was flooded to where water was pouring on the sides that formed something like a waterfall. Then a figure was seen behind the falling water... it was him. The stranger in the rain was in Kyle's flooding house. Kyle quickly headed over to his front door but it was sealed shut and wouldn't open, and the stranger walked over to Kyle. Very slowly the hoodie wearing figure lifted his hand and touched Kyle on the shoulder, that's it. The stranger walked over to Kyle's front door and opened it, letting all the water flow and leak out into the rainy streets. Kyle was confused as he stared at the guy as he walked into the rain until he disappeared. Kyle stood up but fell back down, he felt odd. He took a look at his hands and saw them... dripping? But it wasn't water dripping from his hands, but his own flesh and skin. His entire body started to dissolve, his bones, flesh, and skin turned to liquid. As well as the water flowing out of Kyle's house and into the street, Kyle flowed along with it.
