Quest for the supernatural
Born 1988, M, from Thomaston/Ga, United StatesWilliamsburg, Virginia was an old town, and its colonial heritage had been kept intact which is what made it such a tourist attraction. But there were other, darker stories connected to the past that were whispered in hushed tones about the town. It was said that some of the lands that were long abandoned still contained hidden secrets, secrets that could only be found by those who knew where to look and were brave enough to venture into the unknown.
Two young girls, Jules and Harper, had grown up in Williamsburg and had spent time in those old places. They had heard the stories of ghosts that haunted them, of witches and other mystical creatures that some claimed to have seen.
Their parents, concerned about their safety, tried to keep the girls away from such stories. But, as they grew older, their curiosity forced them to venture out into the night in search of the truth.
Outfitted with only flashlights and a camcorder, Jules and Harper slowly began their journey into the unknown. They felt the tingle of fear as they crossed the threshold of the first abandoned house that they investigated, but were also excited by the prospect of seeing, and possibly capturing, something that no one else had ever seen.
They continued their ghost hunting late into the night, adding a little bit of superstition to the scientific methods they employed in their search. They would return home exhausted but triumphant, having seen sights that neither of them had ever seen before and that no one else could believe.
As their ghost hunting skill improved, so did their reputation in the local community. Soon, the two girls had an unofficial team of ghost hunters who assisted them on their hunts and even joined them occasionally. They soon began gathering a steady stream of evidence that supported the supernatural claims made about their town, only to become more and more intrigued with each new find.
The two friends slowly became a well-known entity throughout Williamsburg, showing that anyone can become a ghost hunter with things they already have.
