One Cold Evening

In the cold evening of October, Benjamin was strolling when, at a great distance, he saw a cute cat. Unfortunately, it had an awkward style of walking. It was crippled because of an injury. Its steps made an unsettling sound. Benjamin decided to help. He followed it. As the darkness prevailed, the coldness in the air intensified. The cat entered a house. It was an ordinary house; however, something was extraordinary about it. It had an extra creepy atmosphere. The lawn was covered by leaves bearing orange and yellow colours. The smell of decaying leaves was very strong. Sudden gusts of wind made Benjamin shiver. He heard a cat's sound. He went inside the house. He was flabbergasted to see a malevolent figure. It was half a cat and half a woman who was sitting by the fireplace, sipping hot cocoa.
Benjamin was terrified. The colour of his face turned pale, and his brow furrowed.
Suddenly, that sinister thing looked at Benjamin and said, "Holla!"
Hearing this, Benjamin gave out a loud shriek and ran away. Fortunately, he saved himself from that eerie creature.
