The Secret of the Ancient Fort(Aleena Nawaz) On a cold day in the winter, Kate went to visit an ancient fort. The fort was fourteen hundred years old. At the entrance of the fort, she met a handsome guide named Ed. Ed and Kate went inside the fort. Ed showed her the different parts of the fort. He elaborated on the history behind every nook and cranny of the fort. He also showed her the place where a young man was killed. He told her that the young man was always curious to explore the inside of the fort. He secretly entered the fort multiple times; however, one night he was caught and killed on the spot.
The guide informed her that legends say that a young man's spirit still lurks in the fort.
Upon hearing this, Kate laughed. Ed smiled.
After exploring the inside of the fort completely, they came out. Kate saw her friends, Kaitlyn and Rose. They were coming towards the fort.
They asked Kate to join them in exploring the inside of the fort. Kate told them that this kind guide had already shown her the inside of the fort in detail. Kaitlyn and Rose burst into laughter.
"Are you hallucinating? Which guide?"
Kate turned around and found that there was no one standing beside her.
