Racism a key downfall to many nations.
Born 1992, M, from Newcastle kwazulu natal, South AfricaRacism on its own is a self-explanatory word, this is because of its controversy, past use, and exercise in many of our nations across the world as we know it. It is a matter still of paramount importance even today, because of many of its features that are still apparent and visible between people of different culture, skin, location, gender, and or demographics including levels of wealth created.
We face a time where racism has not only hidden within the boundaries of the only colour as was in the past, but current situation also indicates high level of planned racism attack, xenophobic attacks that are at their high state in many of our countries today. It is of complete ignorance and lack of clarity in our understanding and expressions that will deny racism being bigger and lengthier than was before. Statements are always super perused into wrong attention to detail which poses a threat to individuals being able to exercise freedom of speech.
We say no to racism to all. Colour should not be a character that helps differentiate people in any way. The racial statement should all be wrong from all persons, there mustn’t be any leniency to statements made, for instance by a person of dark skin to that made by a person of white skin or brown skin. We should only see a statement being made by a person, not by a person specified in colour.
Racism is a slow action that helps demote performance and growth in our country. High revenue growth within our country could be strengthened by coming in unity and ensuring that pool of funds are all made by our individual to help preserve nature and ensure efficient utilisation of our scarce resource of which racism prevents this from happening. Investors tend to not invest in places that are high in racism attacks since the risk then becomes too high. As we lose more money as a country, interest rate increases and these leads to sky rocking borrowing cost in relation to loans we have as residents.
As many people fight for the basic needs, these basic needs should be key to all. The social responsibility statement seems fair and reasonable, but it has become a source of advertisement it’s no longer about helping people but it’s a two-way stream to gain social recognition and access to funds. We say no to the use of words that only perpetuate racism in oral arguments. The use of words such as “a black man will always be black and a white man will always be white’’, these statements can only do more harm than good, hence the division of people in colour is the core of this statement.
That day is still a mystery to all, the day when no person will be different to another by mere visual looks or appearance, where the resources will be given to all that need it, where the motion of self- empowerment will be a golden key to all, individuals of caliber and high intellectual capacity will not only look after their pockets but also the pockets of those who are in need .for the sole purpose of ensuring that there is balance within our societies.
Collaboration could be the best source to share key ideas among all people. The chance to a collaborative country is staggering very low between different groups of people. The main reason boils back to the mere fact that people have no clear understanding of one another that much, there is still much division, The level of comfort is very low between people not within the same group. It is true, that Bad habits tend to last, and it is also true that it’s too hard to change the mentality with which one person has been groomed and grown within from the day of birth. It should be very clear that we don’t want those habits that are the main source feeding racism. Bad habits are the just bad habit they can never be good.
It is just complete lies to say we are working together, we are on paper perhaps but, we are not. If people have no understanding of each other’s core values, religion or beliefs and culture, it appears that racism still prevails. We want individuals who are by profession not prone to lack of basic understanding of the core values above, an individual with no professional title who has a mind that always wishes to learn more of another person .in this process unity should be key, language should be common to all and must be clearly understood by all. No one is as superior as the person seating next to you, we are equal. Even though the passage of time has proved more than once that equality is mostly confused with equity and ignorance confused with uniqueness the fact remains the same, we are all human beings.
I can call myself an African child, but does it mean that I am more important to another person, what about that person who was born in Africa and raised in Africa isn’t he also an African child? Just because we speak differently doesn’t necessary indicate that we are different. language is broadening every day and it acts deeply as one of the main sources to differentiate people. What are we without communication? The main big reason is we don’t realize that language has become a barrier.
We say no to racism because it does not improve our state and its resources. It only increases our spending by each day. Imagine the cost to a state created using state lawyers to represent the many that are undergoing appearances in lawsuits resulting from race speeches and contacts. Those funds that would have been put to good use by, creating educational facilities and skillful events where people were to be taught the relevant skills to help in the creation of businesses that are profitable.
systems that are efficient in maintaining the balance between people should have certain high degree of unanimity. Against all odds, we must remain a human species not a black or white, brown humankind. It is acknowledged that we will always tend to differ in views as people because of our inner thoughts, choices, and experiences. However, let these basic differences not be because of racism being the key factor feeding this difference in people.
The notion of ‘’you can’t change the past and history’’ is true but it is also true though that we can choose to learn from our history and past or not because it helps in defining who we are and where we come from .it is however not solid enough to base our judgment on for future purposes. On whom we should trust and lean on for possible growth and decision yet to be made. On its own, the history and past incidences of racism seem to be the building block for differences in views and the way we as people discharge our duties with other people. The beliefs brought by racism tends to define how people share experiences and deal with matters beforehand.
In that process of defining who we are, a best practice would be a free race differential character. It is true that we learn by accepting things no matter how hard or tough they may seem and feel to be. we tend to remember as persons the most beautiful things and the worst things that has happened to us as people but can’t we exercise that we are one , just once and for all generations to come and choose to be unique by seeing no colour ,no language ,no religion or value difference and be a human race that fights for growth and to be more people centered .A free racism country could mean more growth ,more success in defining who we are, a wider spectrum to a chance of being free of individualism or societal norms and racial separation with no inclination on who you must be with in this life.
Let us fight together as one, by embracing the opportunity of being called humans, let us honour the power we have that is to influence change in our day lives. I say no to racism!

11/29/2023This has to be my favorite story I've ever read on this website. This is just a sore yet important subject because even people nowadays don't consider everyone equal. It breaks my heart. What makes people of color different from people without?

11/29/2023Hi Hannah,
Thank you so much for this lovely response. Indeed it is a sad reality but one remains hopeful that we will see a shift in mindset, as long as we continue to abolish this behavior and where possible teach our younger generation good values of being a human being first than anything or tribe.

11/27/2023Bravo, Nsizwa! Abolishing racism sounds wonderful! Yes, unity would lead to propering nationsand financial gain. Unfortunately, getting everyone onboard may be the problem. People are creatures of habit. True racists may not is as we do! Lots to think about in your diatribe! Congratulations on short story star of the week!

11/27/2023I can not agree more Lillian, " People are creatures of habit" , and I like that you echo that we might struggle to get the majority on board but hopefully if not now perhaps the next generation may see this through or at least try harder than we are. Perhaps time will give us our true salvation. Thank you so much for your comment on this Essay. I am also very glad for the feature of the week.
