This mystery begins when tip and his friend toe went to get coffee at the local coffee shop to catch up and hang out for a little bit, after toe drank about 3 ⁄ 4 of his coffee he started sweating and freaking out then he passed out and shortly after his heart stopped.
When the police arrived they were unsure what could of caused his death but they had there suspensions so they took the coffee mug to the lab and took tip in for questioning and asked if he had anything against toe but they had nothing on him so they let him go but they found some residue on the inside of toes coffee mug and after they analyzed it they realized that toe was poisoned so they brought tip and barista in for questioning again because the barista saw everything that happened during the time that toe died.
While the interrogation was in session the police was going through toes phone and they saw a couple of messages with a unknown number
and the text that were sent from the unknown number were threatening
and the person said “if you don't poison him ill poison the both of you”
And toe responded by saying “i'll take care of it” so the barista was free to go because she was obviously innocent but they were still suspicious of tip because they also saw a couple of messages from him when tip and toe had a little argument over text tip said “you shouldn't of done that” and toe said “i'm sorry i didn't mean to” and tip said back “im gonna kill you” so they kept him overnight till they get to the bottom of it.
In the morning when tip woke up he was told someone was here to see him and it was one of his old friends from school, he just came by to say his condolences and that he knows that he is innocent and he will be a free man soon but there had no one else to blame for the murder of toe but as his friend was saying that he got a notification of his phone and the number was the same number that was texting and threatening toe and his friend noticed him look at his phone so he sporadically stood up and walked out of the jail.
Knowing the information that he knows he told one of the police officers that the number that was texting was the guy who just walked out of the jail so some of the officers followed him to the parking lot and asked him for his identification and if he would come in for questioning and he said he would.
In the interrogation room his friend came up with a story on how he just got a new number and he said he would never hurt anyone and he gave consent to the police to search his phone but little does he know he forgot to delete the text from toe and himself so the police questions him some more and he finally confessed that he was forcing toe to give the coffee to tip or he would kill them both instead of giving tip the coffee toe swapped them and sacrificed himself to tip could live, and all of this is was over a girl in high school
Tips friend is gonna spend the rest of his life in prison of murder and attempted murder of tip and toe.
