The forest
So on October 24 we were all getting ready for halloween. Me and a few friends were planning what we're gonna do that night when Tanner said we should go explore the abandoned mining town. The 5 of us look at each other and we all agree tomorrow night we're heading there. So 8 o'clock rolls around and we all meet at justins, we bring tons of snacks and drinks in back packs then we all hope in the tahoe to start driving there. When we were about ten mins out the foggy forest came into view. We stopped right before the entrance before we kept debating if we really wanted to. The road turns to an overgrown path, we turn on bright lights and keep creeping through the forest till we arrive. The branches snapped as we ran over them making a defining noise till we set up a head to the old mining town.
At the old town we grabbed backpacks full of snacks and started to explore the town, lurking on the rooftops there was an abandoned pegasus sitting on the roof watching us. The pegasus was abandoned here long ago for being crazy; it was out of control, so the gods left it here in the middle of nowhere where it will never be disturbed till now. It had to adapt to the environment to survive so it was covered in mud and blood for killing other animals. When it sees the 5 boys walk into the town it disappears into the shadows waiting to strike. Ben ,Jack ,Tanner and Justin Seed will explore the bank first. We push the door open and a cloud of dust fills the room from the movement, all of us walk in and we are shocked at what the bank looks like. It's so different then now but it is still a bank but that's when the dog gets slammed closed by something slamming against it. We look at eachothere where all scared shitles wondering what that was, then it slams the door again, it knows we're in here, said tanner, then the rest of us look at him and stare in disbelief at what he just said. Then he suggested we should go out there to see what it is and the rest of us think that's a terrible idea. So he heads out there and looks around and sees the pegasus charging at him he tries to run but it catches tanner and rams him with its head then it eats him to the bone. We watched this happen in horror as one of our friends died but now we know we need to leave right now.
So the rest of us waited 30 min hoping the pegasus would get bored and leave but it did not so we decided to make a run for the tahoe. The 4 of us bolt out the door running for our lives at the tahoe but were too late when the pegasus landed in front of the tahoe. We look at eachother and run back towards town and the pegasus starts to chase us. We keep running and running till we come across a mine shaft and have the bright idea to run down there. We get to the end and we think we're safe till we see its bloody fur at the end of the tunnel moving towards us. Now I accept my fate and sit down knowing that death was inevitable.That's when the pegasus charges and all that could be heard was the screams into the night that no one would ever hear. Till this day no one else has been claimed by the pegasus but it's always lurking in this town waiting for its next victims.
